  2. I will continue to stop into the local town hall to uptain a license. Wouldn't surprise me if they charge extra for getting it there. I can't justify a printer and ink for the extra cost. The days coming when an app will be all you need to show proof of hunting license and carcass tags.

  5. Well it won't be long before the new paper tags make their debut, I get the lifetime license in the mail and have to sign up online for the bow and muzzleloader tags. I t will be interesting to see how smooth the rollout is. Al

  6. I was in Henrietta yesterday looking fo some Geo-Caches in a couple of parks . On one trail , I saw a doe and a fairly good sixe fawn . As I was walking along another trail , I saw a doe standing less than 30 yards away . I made a few bleat calls and then noticed a buck laying on the ground a few feet from the doe . It was at least an 8 pointer in velvet . I had never seen a buck in velvet my whole life . I tried to take a picture with my phone but a lot of brush was in the way . I tried to sneak up but the buck stood up and started to slowly move away so I left them alone . It was neat to finally see a Velvet Buck in person rather than on camera .

  7. Bucks look different in velvet. I've seen several, in my travels through the counties. Two nice ones in a soybean field next to the highway yesterday. I thought the first one had. A big rack until I viewed the second, WOW.
