Well just read 30 pages and out of likes catching up. I dont have good cell service where I hunt. Opening weekend was disappointing. I saw 3 deer dark to dark the whole weekend. 7 guys in our crew and one doe. Decent amount of shooting around us though. My good buddy gave me the doe as his freezer was topped off. I finished processing that yesterday and back to work today. Congratulations to all that harvested.

bumped a decent doe walking in. 7 hours in stand and zip. Saw a ring neck pheasant on the way out to my truck it ran about 100 yds then flushed when I got about 60 yds away.

Man how did live from the woods get to lesbians.... Waiting to drop son off at school then heading out for a mid morning to dark sit. First time in 8g this year today- need a change in scenery.

I dont think geography affects it that much at least across NY . I think it's all dependent on the does cycle and some start a tad earlier than other does. not saying that geography doesn't play into effect for example NY vs Georgia you would clearly see a difference. Just my opinion though -

To honor the fallen and currently serving or retired fireman they are asking to place a red light outside your house in the month of November. Recently I just lost a lifetime hero of mine who served 47 years for his community. Not only my hero , but a great hunting mentor and amazing uncle. RIP. I hope everyone realizes how these men put their life on the line for all of us. THANK YOU!

Took this doe Friday evening at about 17:55. She was in a group of six that milled around for two hours around me. I was surprised no bucks were anywhere near in that time. Legal time was ending and took a ten yard chip shot. She piled up 40 yards away. My brother and dad were there to help me out and that was the best part.- 74 replies
