we had rain and sleet but did not freeze. I was outside 615 this morning and it was not really that cold

Sorry crappy. He is at least 15". He does play fetch. I was taking him a lot before hunting and then i have had some issues here and haven't taken him so much. I am going to get back in the habit. There is a club 10 min from here but never thought about joining.

I should also say i did not want a puppy or to hunt rabbit. I asked for rabbit hutches to raise meat rabbits. husband didn't want to build, guess he thought it was easier to get me a dog. I have enjoyed taking him out. I think i need to be more patient when it comes to hunting with him, maybe i have moved on to fast.

He is a beagle,2 yrs old and we are learning from each other. I have never hunted rabbit. There are 2 people on this sight that have different dogs for rabbit.

When my first chicken died a few yrs ago, I was a bit upset only because she followed me around and came to back door looking for me. I think i sulked for 20 min then asked my husband to go hang it in tree as bait out in field.

Took chester out finally! He kicked up a rabbit and didn't know it and it ran towards me, i shot and i missed. Still exciting and wish i could call into work to take him out again

I thought about putting my blind on a platform i have. I only wanted to be 6 ft high maybe but also wondering if i would have more room if i built walls and left my blind where it is. so many thoughts so many decisions . .
