  1. This wide body appears to be doing quite well. Looks like a nice buck to me.
  2. I use this set from buck. Razor sharp, light weight and convenient.
  3. Id probably go with a Remington 700 bdl varmint special chambered in 22-250. Should be able to get a nice Leupold to put on top as well.
  4. Been slow and having to occasionally double click.
  5. Yesterday and today’s score from bass pro. My buddy bought a box of .357 for me, too bad it was sig and not remington magnum
  6. Mossberg makes an affordable over under. I believe it is called the Silver Reserve. Starts at around 700 bucks.
  7. Kind of like the Singer sewing machine company made 1911!
  8. The Winchester made ones are scarce and command a higher price than your average Garand.
  9. Nice historical sign there. Nice bobcat
  10. Im assuming with the two men being shot point blank with a shotgun there was no point to administer first aid. Out in the swamp that deep probably no cell service. Being freaked out i think i would have hauled ass myself.
  11. I have seen them up on the St. Lawrence while small mouth fishing. Very neat animals
  12. Sure did, thing of beauty i tell ya. Love the way these fit my hands.
  13. Put a vintage set of K frame combats on my 617 .22lr. These stocks go for 2-3 hundred these days. I bought them out of a display case in a lgs for 75 bones. Couldn’t be happier. Such a same Ahrends grips are out of business, big blow to the grip market.
  14. I have 3 .357 mag Smiths that i enjoy very much however, this puppy may eclipse them in the fun category! It makes a bigger smile on my face with every pull of the trigger. My .357s are all K frame guns. 3 inch model 66-5, 4 inch model 19-4 and a 19-5 6 inch. Those 586/686 balance nice with the full under lug barrel.
  15. He had a nickel 29 and a nice stainless 629. They were 6 or 6.5 inch guns. Both very nice revolvers.
  16. Walked into a local shop and saw 4 of them lined up. It will fit nicely with my .357 magnums and .38 specials. Ive been wanting a .44 for quite some time now.
  17. Stumbled across a very nice old Smith and Wesson 29-2 .44 magnum. It has the target hammer and trigger in it. This might have the smoothest action out if all of my revolvers. This one has the 8 3/8s inch barrel which balances quite well. I cant wait to take it into the woods next fall. Ammo has been a challenge to find as expected. Sorry for the crappy pictures
  18. My dad has a side lock Thompson Center .54. It packs a punch, before all the nonsense projectiles were easy to come by for the .54. Now its all hard to find.
  19. Thunderbolts are known to be extremely low quality. Thundercrap is more like it.
