    That .444 round is a hammer on deer. My neighbor shoots one in a Thompson Center contender handgun!

    I do agree its a little marginal, not a beginner set up. However I’m the guy that conceal carries .380s and .38 special snubbies.

    I have several larger caliber guns. Solid copper bullets designed for deer work quite well. I wanted a challenge lol. 80 yard high neck shot yielded great results.

    Got me another one! Another large fat doe for the freezer. She was loaded right up with fat. First deer taken with the .223, she didnt even take a step.

    Been up in a stand for an hour. Feels very deery out here. Bumped two doe on the way in, they trotted off slow doubt they went far.

    Woke up at 5 and let the dogs out. The door blew open a million miles an hour with an arctic blast. Crawled right back into bed. Well try it this afternoon.

    Homemade pizzas and two fresh loaves of bread. Pepper/onion pizza and a banana pepper/venison sausage pizza. Both were delicious. Wife made a loaf of white and a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread. I cant wait to try them both!

    To each is own really but......i hear A LOT from the vertical bow community, “i think i hit him a little back” it can happen to anyone and its a risk we take.

    The avocado made it! Needed a hit of maple syrup to balance it all out. Marinaded the tuna in ponzu for 30 minutes, delicious.

    Bacon wrapped colossal scallops, spicy mayo on top for the appetizer. fresh ahi tuna steaks with jalapeño avocado glaze on top. Cooked rare of course. Scallops were delicious. Having a few more cocktails then starting in on cooking the tuna. Ill be sure to post a money shot of that.

    The giant 6 I was watching all summer and into early October has been popping back up on camera. Hope the wife or my dad gets a crack, cool buck.

    Got me another one! Big ol nanny doe. 4 came in at 425. I bumped the other deer towards my wife but somehow they skirted around. Tomorrow is another day. That picture doesn’t do her justice, one of the bigger doe i have taken in many years.
