    What kind of velocity are you getting? How far was the deer when you shot it?

    Well i wasn’t planning an all day sit today but i did because of all the fresh sign around this stand. Saw four doe all day. Two at 330 but no shot into that thicket. The picture with my gun is a different scrape. There were two other smaller ones as well

    Only one doe so far today. No shot, been very slow. No shots heard.

    Rain is finally stopping here in 8F, at least it will be a nice quiet walk in. Colder weather today should have them up. Good luck to all going out.

    Just a misfire on a yote. Not the first time hornady has done that to me. Glad it wasn’t a deer. Wont be using the rest of that box to hunt with.

    Wife dragging her first deer! Out of the new tower blind to boot! Were eating lunch then back at it.

    Ill be up in the new tower. Sat there last evening and had good movement, we shall see.

    First sit in the new blind this afternoon. I was planning on saving this spot till gun season, then the wind started. It was awesome not to be out in that crazy wind and snow. Only a spike came into range, had a handful of does milling about no shots.

    Smith and wesson model 19-4 6 inch 357 magnum. Wife is using my Venture 7mm08. We will be in the same blind.

    Thats pretty surprising even with the warm weather we have had. I've only gotten out for two mornings so far this year and the movement has been great.

    Just got busted by a big chocolate rack 8 point. He snuck up behind me. Lots of deer so far. Had three little bucks under 20. Lots of chasing here in 8F.

    First sit of the year. Chasing and grunting like crazy before the sun came up. One lone doe so far.

    Looks like the 39A is still available at the custom shop on Marlin’s website. With an msrp of nearly 3700$

    I like G96 a lot for a general clean and lube. It works great on wood and isn’t as caustic as some cleaners out there. Smells good too! Comes in a big can and lasts a while.
