Friendly end of Summer Bee Reminder

We're planning a bushwhack hike this weekend in the Catskills up to an old farm pond lined with apple trees for a picnic. I'm rethinking the plan now.... -

Do it! If the DEP doesn't close on the Broadlands that would be an amazing spot for a farm, be it cows or bees. -
Pretending to tell others how they actually feel is another illustration of you being out of your depth. You're taking this forum too seriously. The non-hunting threads are a circus - have a laugh. Don't confuse my setting the record straight or tickling at your memory centers for more than it actually is. Here's a summary: Trump was a sad clown and everyone is glad he's gone. America's appetite for engaging in Afghanistan ran out long ago. Our withdrawal sucked. Our intelligence assessment of an 18 month horizon for Taliban takeover turned out to be a handful of days. Well-equipped and presumably well-trained Afghan army did not resist. This intelligence and execution failure will be investigated and hopefully corrected.

Is that your psychological evaluation? I think we both know you're a bit out of your depth here. I tend not to reside much in "hatred." If you must, you can reduce my feelings for Trump to pity. He was a sad clown who took on a job for which he was woefully unprepared. That's old news... perhaps more interesting today is the army of clowns the insist on being his apologist and how the GOP is trying hard to exploit this demographic but instead they're empowering them. This too is pitiful. You missed my point. The debate isn't whether Trump can hide behind sarcasm. He was the leader of the free world and that rambling video clip captures the utter failure in leadership over his 4 years in office perfectly well. He never grew into the job and America (and the world) is worse off for it.

“Mowin(g)!” I get it now! -
Debunked? Are you suggesting that the formal position of the Trump administration to treat Covid wasn’t actually bleach infusion? Ah, well in that case all is forgiven. Let Trump ask his doctors in a live pandemic press conference about injecting disinfectants. Lysol and other companies were forced to put out warnings to stop people from heeding the president’s live mumbling. But it’s all good, go ahead and praise Trump for his “elocution.” What a f$cking joke. Trump, the leader America deserves.

What about this time of year makes them aggressive? Man, I’ve been bushwhacking off trail with impunity all summer. Reminds me of my carefree treks into rattlesnake country until my dog decided to go after one. This sort of thing makes you want to reel it in until the fall….something there about ignorance and bliss -

It’s striking how preoccupied you are with denying your own fear and accusing others of it. Fear is such a scary word to you… -
Yeah, I initially bought the same as my phone plan provider thinking that I would simply tie it into my phone bill but it's totally independent. That's actually a good thing as you can go with AT&T or Verizon based on reception in the spot you're scouting. It does seem like Tactacam reports issues with Verizon fairly regularly and never with AT&T.

Trump is a know nothing freak who went on the biggest stage in the middle of a pandemic and lobbied for therapeutics that were known to be ineffective or dangerous. Why would anyone turn to him for advice on anything medical related? Biden and Harris’ consistent response was that they would trust the scientific consensus, whether Trump agreed or disagreed. You're doing the dirty work for the morons on the forum. You can't allow the quote from your article "'If the public health professionals, if Dr. Fauci, if the doctors tell us that we should take it, I'll be the first in line to take it, absolutely. But if Donald Trump tells us that we should take it, I'm not taking it,' Harris said" to validate jerryK's "biden and harris rejection for the vaccine when trump was still in office." That's an absurd jump and it's the problem with the uninformed fart right. They live off memes and clips taken out of context. You're better than that. -
I’ve got 3 and I kinda want to round up to an even 4. I’m not actively seeking but whenever I get the urge to look they’ve been sold out everywhere. Nice find

Vaccination

It’s not the same exact shit. Likelihood of being infected remains low if vaccinated. Symptoms are much less likely to be severe if vaccinated. This isn’t very complicated. -

This is precisely the sort of challenge that journalism faces. You get an ass clown like @Grouse sharing something he found online and the very act of countering it gives the statement life. Meme culture eliminates the possibility of making a nuanced point or a detailed explanation. I’ve actually switched my position and I’m now in favor of banning copy/paste trolls. At the risk of breathing life to your BS meme, I’ll answer your question. Your trolling meme is baseless because: 1- hydroxychloroquine is not efficacious for the treating/preventing Covid 2- elected officials did not conspire to hide the efficacy of an ineffective therapeutic. The data are public information. The drug doesn’t work. 3- Trump’s failure in leadership lost him the election. His antics were tolerable to those in the middle until crisis hit and he was unable to lead. -

That’s the tragedy of being as embroiled in conspiracy theories as you clearly are. You lose all sense of reality. Rational disbelief transforms into a world view that’s devoid of any verifiable facts. In essence everything is equally plausible and you become unable to discern reality from fiction. In this instance, @Shoots100 spent time alone in a cabin after his Covid diagnosis. The explanation that his self-quarantine may have diminished the likelihood of infecting his wife becomes “tantamount” to your conspiracy theory that effective therapeutics are being withheld from the population because they aren’t profitable. It’s really sad. Conspiracy theorists are often isolated and disconnected. Believing that there are folks that are after them or that they have unique insight to the order of things helps them lessen this angst. I urge you to seek help. -

Thanks for waiting! My assessment that hydroxychloroquine is on average ineffective at treating or preventing Covid is based on well-conducted published clinical trials. It pains me to see see folks go so far out of their way to embrace absurd conspiracy theories rather than take the most parsimonious steps to protect themselves and loved ones (vaccination and masking when appropriate). Showers keep me squeaky clean but when it comes to your wife’s presumed lack of infection, perhaps the precautions she’s taken (masking) or your hiatus in the woods when you learned you had Covid helped minimize her exposure risk. There are also some paradoxical effects of having a suppressed immune system and getting Covid. Perhaps your wife did have Covid and was a symptomatic. Those antibody tests were terrible in the early days. Not sure how much better they are today. Or perhaps her meds helped although the evidence largely points agains that. I won’t comment any further on your wife other than to say that I’m glad she’s doing well and relieved that the CDC death sentence has proven to be wrong. Btw, how does the CDC state that someone should be dead? Does official notice arrive by mail?
