  1. I interrupt this ridiculousness with a message from Fox News: https://www.fox10tv.com/news/coronavirus/though-young-and-healthy-unvaccinated-father-dies-of-covid/article_bdd64af8-84d1-5572-bd5d-8d59e9be178f.html
  2. $35 for an SD card? What type of cards are you guys using?
  3. You seem to be hung up on simple probability theory concepts… the world is much simpler when you think in black and white, huh?
  4. My passenger was gorgeous. But maybe I’m not? Ah, such is life when we expect a certain level of professionalism from our police officers - I can’t smile my way out of a ticket anymore… Actually, first thing the officer did was notify me that I was being recorded and pointed to his body cam. He also brought his radar gun with him and showed me the reading. I forgot to ask for calibration records. There were 2 other cars pulled over after me on my way out of the city. I guess it was quota day.
  5. What other option do I have? Can’t shoot the deer in the city…
  6. I wasn’t going thaaat fast. I’d rather not deal with points if I can plead out of it…
  7. I got a speeding ticket in NYC. I've always previously pled down to non-moving violation. Everything I've read indicates that speeding tickets in NYC cannot be pled down. Is this true? Anyone have experience with traffic violations in NYC?
  8. We’re thoroughly bug bitten from yesterday’s hike but no stings. I guess even permethrin has its limitations…
  9. I got 70lb limbs and new strings last week. Fast Eddie on the way. I’ll start posting LR grouping once sight is installed.
  10. It was the musings of a moron. No shit bleach kills viruses. But it also kills humans when consumed. Specificity of action is the challenge. You certainly don’t need a PhD to know that (or to be president for that matter).
  11. It’s fascinating how the pandemic has empowered the wage worker. This won’t benefit the consumer directly, especially until a new equilibrium is reached. But I hope some of the changes are enduring.
  12. I don’t think the poor folks that actually benefited from the stimulus funds are in the home remodeling or cross country vacation demographic.
  13. Looks to me like @Biz-R-OWorld had a premonition…
  14. No silence. You’re working hard to draw a false equivalence but even at that you’re failing. The “liberal” media is reporting thoroughly and taking Biden up on his assertion that the buck stops with him. This is tragic. Can you ever imagine Trump owning up to anything, let alone declaring that the buck stops with him?
  15. Sounds like a hoot! A few more I’d like to add to that table…
  16. Shit, if he agrees with me do the opposite! … if only the government had a vaccine for this
  17. Sucks man, it’s terrible to feel deceived. But if money isn’t an important consideration, don’t let it get to you. Focus on your daughter and SIL’s future and make this the special day it should be. Also, if you pay you’re in charge. Have fun with that
  18. Daughter relayed info to @Nomad so the kids are aware. Groom’s parents have been avoiding the topic altogether. But then again, this is just my guess.
  19. Certainly. But I'll expect a formal pitch with cheap cocktails and a cold buffet.
  20. Dreamy. Build a cottage on the side and post on Airbnb. That should pay for the entire job in 1 season. Really, the money we spend on lodging up is outrageous. (We’re actually staying in a farm cabin this weekend)
