  1. I've got a good stash of HeartGard I'm willing to sell at a "DF" markup on this forum too
  2. I'm also in the market for some. I'm liking the Tubbs Alp. I've never used wooden ones but folks are bringing up some interesting points about sounds and spooking deer if hunting with them....
  3. Dude, I would love nothing more than a reasoned and well supported body of work showing hydroxychloroquine is effective (and safe) against Covid. I would enjoy that revelation even more if you pointed me to a hole in my understanding of the subject matter. If you said, "I don't want a vaccine because I don't want it," well, there's not much room for conversation there. Now if you're arguing that ineffective therapeutics reassure you that a vaccine is unnecessary, you should expect some pushback. You're young, healthy, and strong and you have an unreasonable suspicion of these vaccines. Fair enough, you've assessed that you personally don't want it. I encourage you to also consider the central reason why many other young, healthy, and strong people will choose to get vaccinated: to protect others.
  4. Another reason why I hunt. I bought a duck and directions say to remove neck and giblets from cavity. I found the neck but the gibs are missing. Ducks you shoot always come with giblets!
  5. Hey man, your body, your choice. But if you want to base your decision on scientific work, there’s a large body of literature to examine. This study is poor and certainly shouldn’t speak to any informed decision to vaccinate or not. https://rapidreviewscovid19.mitpress.mit.edu/pub/gx1htw96/release/2 https://rapidreviewscovid19.mitpress.mit.edu/pub/8doshze4/release/2
  6. You're not getting the vaccine because you have hydroxycholoroquine? In Feb 2021? Even your ordinary Trumpist wouldn't endorse this nonsense.
  7. I'm not going to debate the politics of the late officer with you. He died defending the Capitol against far right morons. I quoted you in my previous post for context, so no need to be confused.
  8. What a joke. Talk about being brainwashed... Want to talk about a real American? How about the actual patriot who was honored for protecting the Capitol from the Trumpist clowns: https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/public-safety/sicknick-honor-capitol/2021/02/02/3878d5ae-6578-11eb-8c64-9595888caa15_story.html
  9. If you’re actually concerned, joining BHA would be a better use of your time than spreading far right propaganda.
  10. Well for one, they’re not actually a university, as their name would suggest. It’s outright propaganda. The platform aesthetic is up to snuff but the content resembles a parody of itself. A lot of false narratives and straw men.
  11. The head of the Republican Party calls out fringe members who spread lies about election fraud: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/mcconnell-marjorie-taylor-greene-loony-lies-a-cancer-to-republican-party and stands up for real conservatives with a spine: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/mcconnell-defends-liz-cheney-trump-impeachment-vote-she-is-an-important-leader
  12. No need to fear, bear hunting ban bill pulled! No need to vote far right buffoons into office to hold onto our hunting rights. https://www.sacbee.com/sports/outdoors/hunting-fishing/article248934864.html
  13. Yup, we need to fight to ensure our rights aren’t infringed upon. My argument is that parroting NRA propaganda does not help our cause. There are many who have never fired a firearm and are terrified of them. These people help drive anti-gun legislation. There are more productive ways for us to engage in this conversation, and suggesting that we arm teachers isn’t one of them. A sensible hunter and gun owner can mobilize against restrictive policies and still vote against Trumpism*. *Trumpism is a general belief structure that actively engages in fantastical thinking. Science and basic facts are shunned. It’s not conservatism. It’s a general gaslighting campaign.
  14. Former QAnon supporter to Cooper: I apologize for thinking you ate babies https://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2021/01/30/anderson-cooper-former-qanon-supporter-special-report-sot-ac360-vpx.cnn
  15. That’s not miraculous. We’ve had waves of shutdowns and gradual reopening... followed by shutdowns and now gradual reopening
  16. Miraculous reopening? Where? The US has just imposed new travel restrictions. We’ll see a slow and gradual reopening occur over months as the vaccine rolls out, assuming no new variant renders it ineffective. Unfortunately Biden couldn’t reform the public health infrastructure and Covid response from him home office. In regards to Trump, you’re probably right. If his response to Covid wasn’t as disastrous as what we saw, Trump may have won the election. The American people decided that utter incompetence is incompatible with crisis management.
  17. Yeah, Trump was a mess. But it wasn’t just his inability to speak that threw people off, it was his unwillingness to let the experts work that cost him votes he had the first time around. Listen to Dr. Fauci’s interview where he details the dysfunction of the Trump administration: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/26/podcasts/the-daily/anthony-fauci-donald-trump-coronavirus-pandemic.html
  18. I’m not trying to convince you of anything or even argue for one side, in this instance. I’m illustrating that hunting interests are multifold and it’s time we consider all of the issues, as hunters., when voting. Succumbing to NRA driven fear-tactics make hunters look like idiots.
