  1. Killed a squirrel last week in Naples that dwarfed the Grey I shot before it. It had more red on it too. I think it was maybe a fox squirrel. Anybody see them in the southern tier? I've only seen a few others like it.
  2. Congrats! I never knew you were only 61, I always figured you for around great - great grandkid age. I had a mental picture of what I thought you might look like (Ever seen a Travelocity commercial?) Now I'm stumped.
  3. You contradict yourself. Most of your posts on this topic attack Sarah Palin on a personal level, also, you like to throw backhanded insults at her supporters. How many times has the Obama administration done it's best to conceal the truth? (Birth certificate? Not just of LIVE birth, like the one from Hawaii, but a REAL one. Or how about the truth behind 'The fast and the furious' gun scheme? Obama, Holder and the B.A.T.F.E. are all in bed on that one, and have been doing their best to avoid accountability, and impede any kind of investigation / inquiry) Just to name a couple. It's amazing how it's OK for a certain group or party to act with 0% accountability, but God forbid you question them or their motives. To do so makes you an instant racist, or hate mongering extremist. I'm not saying Palin is perfect, but show me a politician (or anyone else) who is. What kind of "Experiment" was it? To see if we are ready for socialism? Don't try to blame all of our problems on Bush, Obama's been beating that horse way too long.

    10 point

Nice mount, I like the pose.
  5. I don't see how she has hoodwinked anyone. Seems pretty intelligent to me.
  6. Nice. You live on the water, I'm guessin. I tried to eat a nice 8 pound cat from Oneida lake, it was nasty. Very strong taste, and kind of muddy. I don't keep them anymore unless they are small.
  7. Nice cat! What did you get him on? I've seen uglier too, my ex - wife.
  8. Whoa, whoa there Biz. NYS has much more important things to throw your money at, like paying the crap assed Buffalo Bills to stay here........
  9. Unfortunately Dom, I'm sure that if you did it, some slug would find your plot and be sitting there when you went to hunt it.
  10. Call the DEC and ask them. A bunch of people use state land to grow their marijuana, so I don't see an issue there.
  11. I used to do it all the time, until I got real big into Turkey hunting. Most of the spawn seems to be in May. I quit doing it after awhile, because I had no use for them, and felt bad killing them for no reason. It is a ton of fun though. My first kill was a mirror carp in Canandaigua lake, I had it mounted. It was only 10LBS, but looks really cool.
  12. Wondering what the story is behind some of the names on here. Skillet was my C.B. handle, when I used to drive truck. I guess it just stuck with me.
  13. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You jerk, you just made me spit my coffee on the screen! That's funny sh*t.

I always set out a sack line, but I catch most of them on green / white or blue / white glow, in the dark K.O. Wobblers.
  15. No ideas for you in 7, Never hunted there. Just got back from camp. Got 1 red, 1 grey, and 1 huge grey that I think might've been a fox squirrel, anybody seen them around?
  16. No, she's out toward Penfield.
  17. Not directed @ you Doc, just the topic in general.
  18. This is getting stupid, yet again. Just freakin let it go, I gotta learn to stop posting anything.
  19. Steve, I never asked you to share my point of view. Doe, it hasn't happened YET, so I guess it is hypothetical, but I believe that they plan to take them all away eventually. Like I said, I wasn't trying to start some debate, just asking a question. There is no wrong answer, I just wanted to see how others felt.
  20. Easy, Robinson. You've got friends here, take it with a grain of salt.
  21. Elmo, I'm not saying that you don't value your rights, like I said, everybody has a different situation. I don't want my son growing up without a dad either, but there is a line in the sand for me. There is a point where "living" becomes nothing more than "obeying" It has been repeated as long as history has been recorded. I don't want my son growing up as a slave, controlled by the desires of the elite few who run the government. I'm not going to get into the cospiracy theory stuff, but removing people's right to defend themselves makes it a lot easier to move ahead with things that are much more scary. These "plans" and "policies" designed to "protect" us, seem to point in one general direction, complete government control, of every aspect of your life.
  22. Elmo, I don't have an idea that would fit all of us, like Doc says, it depends on the individual situation. Grouse, I like the way you put it. I won't give them even one of my guns, regardless of the penalties. They can have them bullet first. I know some of you will think "yeah right, you have big balls sitting behind a computer" I swear tho, that they will not get even one firearm from me. I have no delusions about the end result of non-compliance, but I refuse to live as a subject of tyranny.
