I wouldn't use the shoot through windows. It's hard enough for everything to come together and give you a shot, without adding one more variable into the mix.

You really are special. Takes a big man to resort to name calling. No one, and I do mean no one, cares that you are an instructor. I wouldn't let you potty train my cat. Your arrogance is more of an addiction than I will ever have to face. If you insist on trying to win arguments by mockery and insults, please learn to use the english language properly.

Don't beat yourself up over it anymore. Some people forget where they came from, and even some "instructors" have no business making comments. It's sucks that you have had no one to teach you. I hope you have better luck in the future, and I am sure that you made every effort to recover your buck. Please don't let a few out of line comments ruin our sport for you. Don't be run - off by this forum, it is just a collection of opinions, no one on here has the right to judge anyone else.

Wow, OK Bubba, here is the response that you have been fishing for. We are all aware that you are an instructor. I can tell by your "disclaimer" that you are an instructor. I couldn't care less that you are an instructor. Why should anyone care that you are an instructor? What do you instruct, Bubba? Self promotion? Drama class? I couldn't care less about this thread, it is you and your "disclaimer" that are irritating. How many times are you going to say that you are out of this thread, only to come back and try to keep it going?

I'm stuck upstairs in our dispatch office answering phones today. The window looks out into the woods. Right now there is the world's biggest grey squirrel out there sitting on a limb, barking, dancing around, and mocking me. I can see the pleasure in his beady little eyes. He is taking pleasure in torturing me. I wonder if I can kill him with a stapler. Furry little S.O.B.

Just talked to them. They told me that I need to re-season the pan, by scouring it, rinsing it cold, drying it, applying veggie oil, and then baking it upside down for an hour @ 350. I told them that we've tried this, but she made it pretty clear that this was all they could offer me. I think that, like Tughill said, it is a manufacturing defect. Oh well, kind of disappointing because it was an expensive skillet, but I still love their products & will keep buying them.

Dave, Lodge stuff comes pre seasoned, but still, I always season a new pan before I use it. Tug & single, I'm going to get ahold of them today, I'll let you know what they say.

My girlfriend is a carnivore, but she does like the veggie burgers. I eat them once in awhile, and I'll never let her know how much I really like them, she'd never let it go.

Anybody else use Lodge Logic cast iron? We have a big collection of their pans and fryers. I love them, and I think food cooked in cast iron is the best, especially deer steak seared in olive oil. I bought their big 15" pan tho, and it has a nasty hot spot on one side of it, you can't use that side of the pan without burning the food. I'm going to call them and see what they can do. Anyone else ever had this problem? I'm surprised because I think they put out a good product.

I've been reading Virgil's posts & have come to the conclusion that he is a mole. Possibly a Brady campaign supporter, or one of the libs who drafts the U.N. proposals on international small arms control. Maybe "he" is really Dianne Feinstein herself.

Jeez Wooly, I really appreciate that. I don't pretend to understand half of the stuff in that book, but I think God lets you grasp certain parts of it as He sees that they will help you through whatever situation you're in. Enjoy.
