I was just wondering something. The politicians are way out of line. How many of us are going to get to the point where we say "enough"? Enough gun control, enough chipping away at our freedom. If they have their way, the day will come when they say "turn them in, all of them" There will be people who will comply, and there will be people who will say "NO". I want to know how many of us feel that this freedom is important enough to defend it at all costs. How many of us will say "enough, you are not taking my guns" & be prepared to deal with the consequences? I'm not starting some debate here, I just want to know.

Here's a shot of the limit I took within 45 minutes. Second day of shotgun, after I had filled my buck tag. I went back to my stand near some walnut trees, and they were everywhere.

This is my son's first King, from this past fall. He caught it at midnight off of Charlotte pier on his 2nd cast of the night. Biggest fish of the evening. I was very proud of him.

Thanks all. Carol was out in the midwest (I think it was Illinois) for several yrs, she's now in Rochester, but still films for Drury every yr. One of the coolest hunters / people I know.

At work we take lunch at 5pm, I have a little freezer full of venison that the guys and I share. Tonight, it's venison cheeseburgers on the grill. I put chopped up bacon (Raw) in the ground before I make the patties, it gives it a great taste. Everything should taste like bacon!

We had a great season in Naples (8N). Looking forward to an even better one in 2012. The turkeys should be all over this spring.

I'm sure I don't see most of them. I see them often in the pines, other than that, I don't have a clue as to how or where to hunt them. Don't have a dog either, I usually kick them up while I'm out after squirrels.

Where I hunt in Naples, we have some around. I've never been quick enough to kill one, usually they just scare the crap out of me.

Guys, let's give him a chance to back up his story before jumping all over him. I don't understand why he would make it up.

LOL, I'd actually like to shoot one. Not a hunt I'm sure, but I'd love to have a mount like that, and all the steaks too.

If the end is coming, they should make spring turkey a no limit season, since it'll be the last.

I work with a Jamaican who makes it, never had it. He also makes oxtail, which is really good.

I have no problem with it, I was just asking because one of the guys from camp is going there in March. I'm not starting some ethical debate, but I feel that a high fence operation can be a real hunt if it is set up right.
