Thanks. I was planning on bringing an extra tarp to put on ground although this particular tent does have a built in tarp. I may pick up a folding cot as well, fairly inexpensive at Walmart.

Unfortunately I dropped out when I got to Star - got too old and too busy with school at that point. I certainly am looking forward to this trip and many more in the future. Hoping that my son sticks with it and reaches Eagle. BTW what is snipe hunting??

I am going camping to Seton Connecticut with my son and his boy scout troop for a Spring Camporee. This will be my first camp out since I left the boy scouts about 30 years ago. I had so much equipment that my parents ended up tossing after they moved 10 years ago. Pretty easy to set up - took about 20 minutes to do alone. Similar to my predator blinds I set up myself. Not sure how it will hold up on the actual trip. Should be in the 50's during the day 40's at night. Reviews I found were mixed. Anyone else have any experience with this brand of tent?

Right now I'm concentrating on May 1st. After that, the local farmers are planting corn again in my hunting area. I went up this past weekend with BIL and we planted some trees and also tilled the garden to get ready for planting veges. Hoping to get the local farmer to plant some clover in one area of our grounds near the bow stand.

We set up a blind on the side of the house where the camera was. I may not have to walk but 20 feet from the front door. Lol!

I use Mozilla. It's explorer that runs windows 7 that crashes. I have no problem accessing the internet.

I back everything up so I'm not concerned about losing anything. I'm just so done with PC's. I'm already looking at the iMacs for my next computer. I just need this one to last a little while longer.

For the last two weeks explorer on my Windows 7 PC has been crashing. It started infrequently and now every time I try to open "my computer" or access a document or photograph, it quits working and restarts. I've so had it with this Dell laptop. Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

After nearly five months made it up here to set up blind, plant trees and chestnut field with my BIL. Checked one cam this morning and there are hundreds of pics of turkeys not even ten feet from the house. Will post pics tonight. Going to be setting up another camera soon after we do some mulching on the chestnut field. <br /><br />Colder than expected up here too!
