Great video!

Saw this floating on FB this morning. It's attributed to sayings by Jeff Foxworthy. Although I'm not a big fan of him, much of what he said makes sense to me: A Country Founded by Geniuses but Run by Idiots If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for entering and remaining in the country illegally — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or to take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If you MUST show your identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor, or check out a library book and rent a video, but not to vote for who runs the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If the government wants to prevent stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines that hold more than ten rounds, but gives twenty F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If, in the nation’s largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but not one 24-ounce soda, because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make you fat — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If an 80-year-old woman or a three-year-old girl who is confined to a wheelchair can be strip-searched by the TSA at the airport, but a woman in a burka or a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head searched — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If a seven-year-old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his teacher is “cute,” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government regulation and intrusion, while not working is rewarded with Food Stamps, WIC checks, Medicaid benefits, subsidized housing, and free cell phones — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If the government’s plan for getting people back to work is to provide incentives for not working, by granting 99 weeks of unemployment checks, without any requirement to prove that gainful employment was diligently sought, but couldn’t be found — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big-screen TV, while your neighbor buys iPhones, time shares, a wall-sized do-it-all plasma screen TV and new cars, and the government forgives his debt when he defaults on his mortgage — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. If being stripped of your Constitutional right to defend yourself makes you more “safe” according to the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots. What a country! How about we give God a reason to continue blessing America!

Sounds good. The dogs certainly are a good alarm and deterrent. Enjoy the new cave!!

Very nice!! I'm not sure if you just put your guns there for display for the pictures but I don't know if I would keep my guns in there permanently . . . especially with the windows . . . it's an invitation for a broken window and missing guns among other things.

The lawyer is just as stupid for even thinking to file a claim like that. There are rules that discourages frivolous lawsuits and claims = SANCTIONS against the parties and attorneys. Enforce them!

After reading this story I nearly spit my coffee all over my new iMac. . . . http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2002/mar/10/20020310-040938-2026r/#disqus_thread

Awesome pics. Poor girl must have thought you were her momma.

I hope you didn't click on the link. I would go directly to the google website and sign in to change your password.

Congrats on your first bird! It's a great feeling getting your first. My younger brother in law just connected Saturday morning after hunting for nearly 20 year. He never connected on a either a hen or Tom in that time. Needless to say he was ecstatic.

Nice bird. Congrats!

Anyone see this dashcam video of a not so-routine traffic stop in Ohio? Guy jumps out of his car shooting a fully auto AK at cops while cars are passing by. Cops returned fire killing the guy. A white van is passing just as the shooting begins and a white car stops only feet away as if it were frozen. I would have shat in my pants. What would you have done? http://news.yahoo.com/video/noon-dash-cam-video-released-161446980.html

Yes. I saw a young moose as I was going up the Taconic on Tues along the side of the road. I had to do a doubletake. It was on the edge of someones property near the road.

Thanks guys. I was a bit concerned being that it was a new taxidermist and my first shoulder mount. My son named him Chuck the Buck.

Picked up my 7pt from the taxidermist today and just mounted it in my home office. I am very pleased with the work. What do you all think?

Nice! -
on Jericho Turnpike in Westbury, when some guy pulls up next to me and flashes the V sign. We're both moving at about 15-20 mph so I put my window down and I give him a hand like what's up? He shouts back "2nd Amendment" - then I realize I put a sticker on the rear window of my car - So I give him the thumbs up! "You know it!", I shout back at him . . .
-
Oh that wasn't me Lol! . . . it was on Facebook on Wild Turkey Report's wall. If it was me I would have got out of my car and well . . . he would be hanging in the barn . . .

I know Teebug. I shot my first bird ever at 11:45am on May 17, 2008. Its just frustrating when you wait months for opening day and getting siked up after seeing tons of birds in the area on camera and then come opening day they disappear. My FIL's dumb move this morning didn't help either. Hoping to head back the following friday on May 10th. Only problem is its my 21 year anniversary on Friday and Mothers day on Sunday. LOL -
Lol! Nothing. I just stunk after sitting for 6 hours
