I'm lucky! I have a friend that makes his own so I get new every year.

Sorry I am having a hard time downloading the video..

Thanks for your reply. I was thinking a 12 with a red dot and 2 3/4" shells. She she a 22 quite a bit but this is a jump. I'll put it in a lead sled so it doesn't scare her!

I might have a 12 year old to take out, curious on gun and load setups? I can borrow a 20 from a friend, but not until May.

If weather permits, who's going to win the 500?

I'm not sure which power panel your cam requires, but check walmart.com

I'm a Giants fan, therefore I will root for them. If the Giants weren't in it I wouldn't root for anyone. I don't switch as a team is eliminated.

Anyone ever have to use your pistol in a real life situation?

When I was in my teens I walked in on a bank robbery as the two were coming out. I got to look down the pipe but no shots fired. While I've been carrying, nothing! -
A one antlered spike. Not sure if shed or broke off. A mild winter and new AR's, I can't wait for deer season!

Same story in 4P. I had 3 small bucks go by, by 7:10 on opening morning. Since then 1 small buck on Thanksgiving. I'm praying for cooler weather. Didn't see much rutting activity either. I left my cameras out and it's 90% night activity. I'm not giving up, things change in a heartbeat!

I'm proud of every deer I harvest! I do pass on alot though!

If Honda made a beer I would buy it! If the world ended, the only things that would be left are coyotes, cockroaches and Honda ATV's.

Does anybody make a scentless sunscreen? I expect to see a warm day or two during the season but this week has been crazy. Oh well, my wood pile sure isn't taking a big hit.

With a grinder! Just kidding. Still frozen but workable. I'll put it through the grinder 3 times for jerky and chop meat, with the chop meat mixed with beef or pork fat.
-
Leupold! Sight it in and never touch it again. Always on year after year. I have 5 on 5 different guns.

Taking time off isn't a problem for me, but is is for alot of people. Camp is empty right now. I have most of the season off. The one part of the Saturday opener that I like is that most people go back to work on Monday and the woods start to quiet back down. At least in my neck of the woods.

Two White Hots and a Hornaday 240 Grain XTP. Very consistent out at 200 Yards.

I went to camp last night just to have a couple of cold ones and BS. Only two retired guys there. Don't get me wrong I still had fun.

I really miss the Monday opener. Rush home from work, rush to camp, rush to bed, rush to your stand, boy I feel like I'm still at work! I always enjoyed the weekend before opening day, catching up with the other guys at camp, Shooting the guns one more time, checking stands and just being a part of DEER CAMP USA. If you have never been a part of a deer camp it is hard to explain what you have missed. If they decided to make opening day on a Thursday at 3:00pm, I'd be there, I wouldn't miss it for the world. Yeah! I'm crying! Good luck everyone! Be careful and have a safe and successful season.

Check with your county. Here in Delaware county the Soil and Water Conservation District has an annual tree and shrub sale. Two years ago I bought 50 Wild Apple seedlings for about $30. They were about a foot tall when I got them. I put them in Plantra growing tubes in full sunlight and now some are already over 5 Foot. This year I bought 50 crabapple trees and most grew 2 to 3 feet in the tubes. Also try the Saratoga nursery for trees and shrubs.

What was the first year of Muzzleloading season in New York?

I'll have to look in the gun safe, I believe I saved all my old licenses. Those stamps were great, I just regreted signing my name across them.
