Make sure your air filter is clean. If I remember right, I believe you are in a new house. If so the units might be to small for the area you are trying to cool, which would cause the units to ice up.

These units only hold a pound or 2 of Freon. I'm assuming they are R-22 Freon, which is hard to smell unless you get a large dose of it. If the leak was that big all the gas would be out of the system and not cool at all. I know I'm not there to observe the fog and smell, but I'm thinking it's not a Freon leak.

Do these units still get cold when they are running or are they just blowing warm air?

To properly repair a Freon leak, after you find it you would have to evacuate the system with a reclaimer, fix the leak, put the system in a 30 inch vacuum and recharge. To find the leak you can listen for it, use soap bubbles, or use a commercial leak detector. Sometimes you'll see oil where the leak is.

Are you sure they are leaking Freon? You stated spewing Freon, do you see this, if so there's your leak.

The private property that I normally hunt just doesn't have the birds on it so I been hitting some public land. If I get to one of these spots and there is another car there, I move on. In two days I've had three different vehicles drive up and park next to my truck then get out and call. What would they have done if they heard a gobble? Run in the middle of my set? Turkey hunting is dangerous enough. Use your heads and be safe out there!

I've been out every morning at 5:00 for the past 2 weeks. 1 bird has been in the same spot and headed to the same field all but 2 of those days. We'll see what happens!

I don't think there is a perfect blind. They all have good and bad. I like my Big Mike Barronett because of the size. The good = I can stand up in it and shoot my bow. The bad - noisy zippers. My Ameristep is a smaller blind that has great camo (realtree) and noisy zippers. My Primos Double Wide blind is made out of durable no glare fabric but I feel the windows are a bit low, I have a hard time seeing out of it. I use all my blinds for different locations where the camo works best. I like the Big Mikes size. It's nice to be able to stand up and stretch.

Oil changes and tire rotations. Next years firewood has been done for weeks already! Way ahead this year with the mild winter.

Where do you find that? I'm in!

I planted mine back in September and the deer have been using it all winter. It's really greening up now. I planted it for the same reason, ground nutrients. Good luck!

-22 right now, wind chill -34 in 4P.

The deer had eaten the greens off the turnips months ago and now they are just getting into the turnips now.

I'm in Andes and coyotes are all over. I get pics of them regularly. As for deer, I have seen very few this hunting season. 10/1 to 11/13 I saw 2 bucks and a doe and fawn while hunting, that's 4 deer in about 80 hours of bowhunting. 11/14 I saw 4 bucks, 1 doe, and 2 unknown. All of those bucks I had never seen before or had any pics of them. From my own observations and trail cam pics I feel the height of rutting activity here was from 11/10 to about 11/20. During this time my 6 cameras had several bucks that were all new to me and my regular everyday bucks were gone. Right now my cameras have been pretty quiet but I am picking up some pictures of my everyday bucks. What I'm trying to say is when the rut fires up I feel your resident bucks move out of your area and other bucks move in while seeking and chasing does. Just something I have noticed over the years.
