Do any of you choose slug gun over rifle?

I like my 20 gauge Savage with lightfield slugs. Most of my shots are 50 yards and under. -
Went out yesterday and i was sitting up in my ladder stand and a grey squirrel with an ear of corn came by me and buried it. I was kinda shocked cause the closest corn field was 1/2 mile away. I went to another spot on my property for night stand and found more corn and empty cobs. Do ya think an animal could have carried it 1/2 a mile?

Its crazy. Im waiting for the day you have to register your riding mower.
-
I do use it on my farm for towing stuff and mowing some fields with a tow behind mower.
-
I never got a registration for the atv when i bought it back in 05. Looks like its going to be a fun time trying to get it registered.
-
Thanks for the info.
-
Do you need to register your atv if you intend to ride it on your own land ?

I always hated the first climb on a new tree location. If you didnt have it set right you had to climb back down to adjust it so you were some what level. Didnt the TSS climber have a rubber strap with a metal cord in it?

Does anyone remember the Baker tree stand elevator ride? It used to wake ya up.

Owning land can be a pain in the A-- sometimes. I wouldnt walk on another persons property unless i had permission and wouldnt do it until i talked to them. You never know they might be on stand. I see the trespassing fines on Newsjunky. $25.00 for a trespassing fine what a joke.

Check out Catch the Drift out of Oswego NY. Works hard to get fish in the boat.

I hear them everynight.I have found a few dead deer on my property . A couple pics the coyotes were carrying fawns. The season should be year round.

It took 5 minutes to get bow, muzzleloader, turkey tag and a doe tag. The guy at the sport shop said the one before me took 30 minutes to go thru.
-
I got my license today. Bow, muzzleloader, turkey permit and a doe tag.

Easy to change ,drain the tank down to the t and p valve, teflon tape and pipe dope the new one and tighten. You can use a shark bite fitting to extend the pipe.

If it just started to drip it might be from excess pressure building in the heater . The relief valve will go off at 150 lbs pressure. If you have city water you might want to put a gauge on the outside faucet to see what you have coming in to the house. When the water heater kicks on you will get thermal expansion. We put thermal expansion tanks on the water heaters to protect them . If you have city water your house pressure reducing valve might be on its way out . They usually keep the pressure around 50 lbs.
