I got this guy on camera at my SILs property . Probably a couple hundred yards from her house at the creek .

I was using the Starbrite and the manager at Tractor Supply said the Sta-Bil Marine Formula was better . After comparing what each one does in their ads , It appears Starbrite looks like the better choice . However , I plan to start using the Ethanol Free gas in most of my small engines from now on .

A few years ago , when my mom was alive , she had property in Groveland . I was sitting in a stand and saw deer going through the woods over 120 yards East of me . When I was through with my morning hunt I put up a ladder stand . I sat in that stand and shot a doe later in the day . I would say move it . Just don't cut a bunch of limbs for shooting lanes .

Fastrack has the Ethanol Free gas . It's 40 cents more per gallon but worth it in the long run !

I have had enough of the Bow Season . No more hunting / sitting until Saturday . I was in a stand in Mendon by 6:15 am . Between 7:15 and 10 am , I saw 8 anterless deer and one spike . I watched 2 doe milling around for over 20 minutes about 120 -140 yards away . They were fairly close to a storage area ( trailers , large electrical boxes , etc ) . A guy was operating one of those Billy Goat Brush Cutters about 120 yards past them . The deer paid no attention to him . Thought that was funny . The wind picked up around 10:30 and I had had enough . Left !

I use the 4 wheeler and a sled . Havn't had any need for it this bow season . It would have been tough sledding if I had gotten a deer this am or down at my sister in laws in Geneseo . That's over 1/2 mile and it would be tough sledding !

I bought a 2008 Honda new the spring of 2009 . It has 34 run hours on it . I don't use it enough . No place to ride it around home .

Maybe it needs some PB .......

I was going to load my Honda Foreman ATV on the trailer last night . Couldn't get it started . Kept the battery up and cranked it a lot but no good . It backfired a couple times which isn't good . Gave up . Tried to start it when I got home today and still no good . I siphoned the gas out and replaced with Ethanol Free gas ..... nada ! Pulled some covers off and yanked the spark plug . Lots of carbon ! Cleaned the plug as best I could and re-gapped the plug . Put it back and it almost started . Scooted up to the Polaris dealer and was able to get a plug . Gapped it , (said a prayer ) put it in and voila , it started right up . I thought I was going to have to haul the Honda to Canandaigua to have it repaired . I was using 87 octane gas that has 10 percent ethanol and adding the Marine Formula Sta-Bil but think I will stick with the Ethanol Free gas from now on . Anyway , I got lucky .

Pull the plug . Seems like they can't get things right and they are going to drive you nuts !

I left the stand in Mendon at 10:30 . Ended up seeing 8 anterless deer and 1 spike . The wind was picking up pretty good and I figured it was time to leave . Didn't get to try out my "Moog String" on any deer .

Saw 2 more doe. They were milling around half way between me and some guy running a walk behind mower. Watched them feed for over 20 minutes. The mower didn't seem to bother them. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Well , I had the CT Scan last Thursday and no news yet ...... Maybe "no News is good news" .

Went to Geneseo and was in a stand by 6:15 . Loked like it was going to be a nice day . Saw 3 doe in the neighbor's field . One took off like a shot and the other 2 hung around for a while . The larger doe came within 20 yards and I though she might come into the lane way . I kept thinking ...wait 10 minutes . I wanted to shoot her but ..... I don't have permission to hunt that property ( 3 hunters lease it) and it was 10 minutes before legal time . After all the crap we went through about legal hours , I didn't want to be a hypocrite . I will probably eat that tag but my conscience is clear . A bit later I saw another doe way over in the Gully lot . Saw 4 deer between 6:40 and 7:15 .That was it for the morning . Got out of the stand at 9:30 , changed clothes and went to SILs to help put away 100 hay bales in her loft . Used the John , got something to eat and drink and was back in the stand around 2:30 . Didn't see a thing all afternoon . It cooled down quick . I have been staying away from my elevated pond blind and saving it for gun season as I have had doe anywhere between 40 and 75 yards from the blind . Plan on using it opening day . I havn't had a shot with the bow but I got out as often as I could rather than sit here all day and I enjoyed the trail cam pics .
