    I said good bye to Gander Mountain some time ago . They are too pricy . They have the guns and archery stuff together and lots of luck getting someone to wait on you !

    There is a plastic webbing and double foam between the two sides . I guess it could be heavier duty though . Time will tell .

    Interesting Topic , Doc . If I , personally , had the opportunity to shoot a bear , I think I would pass ( unless I was in danger ) . I doubt I would care to eat bear meat and to kill one for the sake of doing so just doesn't appeal to me . Others would probably eat the bear meat and do something with the hide , etc . I have heard of hunters soaking material in bacon grease and using it like scent wicks to draw the bear in close . Not sure if that would be legal though .

    I was in a WalMart yesterday and happened to see a 2 gun case manufactured by PLANO . I have a couple of their cases but this one caught my eye . It is double thickness and holds a rifled gun on each side . Each side has a total of 6 latches and has the foam protection on the inside . Only $29 . I bet that sucker will feel heavy with 2 guns in it !

    And , I would think that hunting from a blind with a crossbow would be less of a challange than hunting from a tree stand with a compound . sent from my e-machine T3085 160GB

    DICKs has a lot of their Clearance items on sale , and with some , if the price ends in a 3 or 7 , there is another 50% off . I bought a $30 fake fur mad bomber hat for $7.50 . Some of the Archery , ML , and other hunting stuff was marked down also .

    My new Troy-Built snow blower has "heated handles" and that seems to make using it in weather like this more tolerable .

    Cleared the driveway twice today . Had a 2 pm doctor's appointment and Rt 104 was pretty crappy until I got to Bay Bridge . There were some fender benders and cars off the road . The police were busy . A few dumb asses that had snow stacked high on their roofs and went they cut in front on the on-ramps the snow would blow off and be blinding for a few seconds . Clean their windshields and leave the crap on top to blow off . What Idiots ! The weather and ropads were pretty clear on the way home .

    Well , we rented the movie "Prisoner" with Hugh Jackman through RedBox . 2 1/2 hour movie but it was entertaining and kept you guessing throughout the movie .

    My wife and I drove into Lowes Movie Theater in Webster to see " American Hustle " for the 1:10 show ---- Sold Out . Tried to get tickets for the night movie and couldn't get 2 seats together . Wow ! Has anyone seen this movie ? We don't go often .

    I gave away almost a full brick of the Remington 22 long rifle hp's a few years ago . It was the dirtiest shooting ammo that I ever had . Bought American Eagle 22's . I still don't regret getting rid of the Remington crap even with today's prices .
