The guy was telling me that he had also put out minerals and Deer Cocaine . I tried to tell him that any type of feeding the deer is illegal and he didn't want to accept that . He probably wasn't happy that he stopped to talk . I am just glad that he wasn't "carrying" ! He came across with the tough guy bit and I tried not to laugh out loud .

I stopped off at DICKs in Webster this afternoon to check out a couple things . While I was there I stopped in front of a display that I initially thought was food plot seed . It was Deer attractant and a guy was telling me how good it worked . I told him it is illegal to use in NYS and he said he didn't hunt over it . It was just to attract the deer for pictures , and get them to come to his property . I told him I wouldn't use the stuff as I would probably have someone tapping me on the shoulder and lose my license . He said if someone tried that he would shoot them . I said "no you wouldn't" . He said "yes I would ". I said what you are doing is breaking the law and he walked away pissed .

I am surprised they didn't use the politically correct term --- "alleged" !

Well , I bought the Self Propelled Huskee with the 160 cc Honda Engine at TSC . It was $300 and I had a 10% off coupon . Put it together and mowed the lawn ....... 6 bags of grass later I was done . Real easy pull start . Now I have to get rid of my rider mower .

No doubt the dirt-bag's family will want to sue the cop for some dumb ass reason ........

Ants ----- How to you really feel about these guys ?

I am really getting frustrated with product reviews and wonder how valid some are . I was looking at rider mowers and self propelled . Many reviewers give them a 5 star and a few give them a 1 star and say they are junk . My rider mower ( Troy Built Bronco ) crapped out on me and I was looking at new ones but couldn't make up my mind . I have a walk behind with a bagger but at 71 , I don't want to PUSH it for the next few years . I figured a self propelled with bagger would do . My lot is 180 X 110 and subtracting the house , driveway , shed , garden , etc , I have about 1/3 acre . Instead of mowing with a rider and then walking for exercise , why not walk behind the self -propelled mower . Anyway , I find the reviews confusing and wonder how valid they are . People mention wheels bending , wheels falling off , belts falling off the pulleys , shafts breaking , etc ... What the heck !

Went out to check the cameras this am and the mosquitoes were horrendous ! I put some Cutter on but that didn't help much . They are bad enough when you can swat or squish them but when they nail you in the middle of the back ..........aughhhhhhhhhhhhhh !

There are tiny ants in the camera . I sprayed some ant killer on cotton balls and put them in a sealed container . If it isn't raining when I get to the swamp , I plan to put the treated cotton balls in the camera housing and see if that helps .
