The Tech guy said it is supposed to get power in order to do the reset . The way that tiny battery is in the cam , you would pretty much be taking a chance on pulling wires loose the get it out . I don't think they are worth enough money to waste too much time on them . I think I learned a lesson with the Stealth's !!!!

He said law abiding citizens don't need guns and only the criminals would then have them and these lamos still signed . But the responses on the you tube page cracked me up . People thought the petitioner was for real .

I called the Help line this am and the Tech Rep gave me a lot of info that didn't work . 1) He said remove the batteries and turn the camera on and that should restart the camera ........ no way . 2) Turn on the camera , go to Menu , take a couple pics on the Internal Memory and then clear it ..... no way ! 3) Don't use a SD card larger than a 2 GB and one that is formatted in the Stealth Cam and has not been used in anything else . I tried both and so far I cannot get the camera to turn off and clear . I will play with it again when I get home tomorrow night .

I tried watching Duck Dynasty a couple times and couldn't get interested in the show .

Some people that watch the video are dumb enough to think the guy is doing the petition for real .

I won't bother to send them back as they aren't reliable . What really irks me is to drive 50 miles away to find that the camera has failed and there aren't any pictures . A big waste of Duracell and Energizer batteries !

I have had excellent luck with the Moultrie , Primos , and WildGame cameras . I have a couple of old Wild View cameras that work but are battery eaters . But , 3 out of 3 Stealth Cams will not function ! I might try the shotgun on the Stealth Cams ..... I gotta call their Help line and see what they say but I have a Wake to go to today and a Funeral t5o attend tomorrow .

I don't know about upgrades . I will try to contact them again Monday . Here is what the screen looks like .

No more Stealth Cams for me . I have a STC-WD1 camera that does absolutely nothing when fresh batteries are installed . I have 2 STC-I430IR cameras that have gone into an 8888 mode when the camera is on and even when it is off . I have taken the batteries out and replaced and it still does it . Cannot get the screen to go blank when the units are turned off . It really sucks when you have a camera set up 50 miles away and check it out to find out it's crap ! If I can't get any help from the Stealth Camera HELP line I may take all 3 cameras to the range and use them for target practice . What a disappointment ! +

I was heading to Geneseo to my SILs as we were going to the Swanson Farm in Mt Morris to do a Woods Walk . It was part of the Forest Owner's Association program . Anyway just before I got off 590 to get on 390 I saw a bird in the field on the North side of the road where they usually are . I wondered if it was a Tom and "poof" he fanned his feathers . Neat . Pulled onto Lima Road in Geneseo and just before I got to North Road , a Jake flew across the road at windshield level about 15' ahead of me . It was close enough that it startled me !

Yupper ! Gotta be careful as some items can be confusing . I have been lucky with EBAY purchases . Most stuff on there have pretty good descriptions . I rarely buy used . As for trail cameras , DICKs has several in the $60 range ( a much larger selection than WallyWorld ) . I have a 35 mm trail camera that I havn't used in years . IT was expensive to buy film and have it developed to end up with nothing ......

That's funny John . I uploaded GOOGLE Chrome twice and got rid of it after a couple of short trials . It seemed like it wanted to take over the computer .

I tried GOOGLE Chrome and got rid of it . Explorer runs slow and Mozilla FireFox moves right along . It seemed like the DECALS system runs a bit slow during deer season when it's much busier .
