Plus ..... they weren't trying to sell salt licks , mineral blocks , and other feed supplements like Hank Dickers and the Big Hunting Shows . None of those guys were using Swackers !

No matter what , the show is still more entertaining than watching Jackie Bushwacker on Buckmasters or any of the guys on the other canned hunts .

Sorry but when I saw the topic I thought you were going to ask for cleaning instructions . I didn't realize it was a brand . Is it similar to the HSS harness ?

It's "Hand Wash" ..... hang dry .... don't wring out the jacket and Do Not put in a dryer . If the battery crapped out , it would be expensive to replace . The battery has a button you push that when doing so shows the battery charge left .

The jacket turns on instantly . It has 3 heat settings ( low , medium , high ) . I turned it on in the house and was warm by the time I left the garage door . The heat control button is on the inside of the lapel . The jacket was warm enough that I probably didn't need to turn it on while walking but I wanted to test it . It was freezing out and I was toasty warm . I tried the body warmers before and wasn't impressed . It used to bother me to spend money on myself but I worked hard to save . When I see my kids (5) pee away money on frivolous things I think , " why don't I spend some of their inheritance" ! I don't drink or smoke so why not enjoy the finer things in life .

They had a harness on when in the tree stands and stressed that it isn't safe to shoot when someone is in the area . The smoking bit was something else . The one guy who smoked a lot was sucking wind when he was pulling that deer on a cart . It was better that the pros / celebrities doing one of the canned hunts !

They may be idiots but they are getting some choice spots to hunt . Can't knock that ! The median income in the community is about $250,000 and those folks want to keep their flowers , shrubs , etc ..

My wife and her friend went down to Florida last month and did the "swimming with the Dolphins" bit . It was nice for a week !

It was 32 degrees and damp outside today . When it stopped raining I had on a tee shirt , a polypro shirt and the heated jacket . I had the setting on LOW . I put on a knit hat and light gloves and started out on my 1 1/2 mile walk . My upper body and head were warm but hands and legs were cold . On the way back home I was overly warm under the jacket . I am looking forward to wearing the heated jacket this coming hunting season . I wish it had the 2-way zipper where you can unzip the bottom . I think the jackets are undersized . I have XL gear that fits loose . The XL heated jacket is fairly snug . It should keep my back warm while sitting against a frozen tree this winter ( I hope ) .

It helps to know the guys you are talking to . Many of them have been with the store for years and know the products . Scott Gargana was in Webster and is now manager in the Henrietta Store . Scott is with the Archers for the Almighty and works with the Sportsmens Banquets . Dave and Lyman work at the Webster store . I know Dave Dentico from the Walworth Custom Gun Shop as well as Hans Farnung , Dave Fladd , Jeff Ryan and Allan Rice from Beikirchs ...... The Webster Store has plenty of camo and an abundant supply of Turkey Hunting Supplies . I will be going back to the store today to get some sneakers . . The DICKs stores treat me good and I spend my money there . Oh yeah , Dave from the Webster store lives north of the Ontario Rod and Gun Club (Putnam Road ) . He said that before they raised the berms at the club that he had a bullet come through the wall and imbed in the wall a foot above his head in his home office .

At 71 , I do that fairly often . Sometimes I will grab a cup of coffee , sit and think back and think of when was the last time I saw what I was looking for . Often that works . But ....... I know that if I buy a replacement , I will find the lost item immediately afterwards .

I was there this am talking to Dave back at the hunting dept . I was looking to see if they had gotten in any 20 ga Accu Tips when he asked if I was looking for any special ammo . He said they had gotten in some 22's , 223 , 22-250 , 30-06 and some other ammo . That was a surprise .

They should ban those dangerous knives even if " it only saves one life " .........
