As for less folks at the gas stations and diners , I would attribute it to hunters wanting to be more "scent free" and not wanting to smell like grease from a restaurant ( unless they are bear hunting ) or pick up odors at a gas station . I am usually in my stand or blind 1/2 hour before it gets light out , so maybe 1 hour before legal shooting . I see many vehicles parked in fields , etc where hunters have gotten to their spots very early . So , I see evidence of an ample amount of hunters out there instead of parked at Restaurants and Gas stations . One of my hunting spots is on Lima Road in Geneseo . I used to see a lot of vehicles parked on Country Club Road but not so many the past few years . We used to get tresspassers coming from that area but nothing in about 3 years . In that area I think the decline is due to the fact that the property has changed ownership and hunters have been denied access to that property . I know of 3 treestands within 50 yards of my SILs property but havn't seen any hunters in them . I usually don't hunt that section as her property doesn't drain and it pretty sloshy back there . I would almost need a boat to get a deer out if there had been much rain but we are going to set up some ladder stands and possibly a permanent stand this year . I have been bored with this thread from the start . I don't support Crossbows but I don't fight against them either . 18 pages of bickering and no one has changed their mind . Yeah , I am bored . I watch "The Five" on the Fox station but missed this yesterday . It really frosts my butt when these actors protest against things that they have done to make money . Specifically the actors that kill hundreds of people in their movies and then protest against guns !

32 GB is way too many for me . I don't like to use anything over 2 GB but sometimes put a 4GB card in a camera . I have had over 3000 pics on a camera card due to the wind blowing a branch , etc . I erase the cards after uploading the pics and start all over again . Maybe I will try the Black Flash sometime but I have more than enough cameras for the time being .

I'd be looking for a Major that supported jobs in the future . I know some folks that got a degree in Political Science . That degree and $1.50 will get them a cup of coffee .

I replaced the 6 "C" batteries in one of my cameras last thursday . I used the cheap batteries from the Dollar Store to see how long they would last . I recalled a review in Consumer Report a few years ago that said the more expensive batteries didn't last much longer than cheaper ones so I thought I would see for myself . I had been using the batteries from Tractor Supply and they lasted about 5 months in the freezing temperatures .

My oldest son went to Monroe Community College and took numerous courses . He talked to the Faculty at RIT to see what courses he could transfer for credit and took as many courses as he could at MCC at a much lower cost then attended the Rochester Institute of Technology , finished what courses and got his degree in Civil Engineering . He saved a lot of expenses that way and was working 2 part time jobs to boot .
