NY Jets: Sanchez, what the hell is he wearing?
fasteddie replied to burmjohn's topic in General Chit Chat
It's called a Cinch . He periodically tightens it so he can get his sha-zit together ! -
I havn't had any luck finding large pistol Mag primers . I'm not in dire need but can't reload any 44 mag for my son until I get some . I wasn't swift enough to think of primers when the ammo shortage began . Shame on me !

Anyone use one of these Arizona E-Z Fletch Mini's?
fasteddie replied to burmjohn's topic in Bow Hunting
I use the standard Arizona E-Z fletch as I like the longer vanes . The Mini will work the same way for the shorter vanes so it should work quite well . -
I believe the black flies think the bald spot on the back of my head is a landing strip and they attack it .

You keep the Ticks and i'll keep the black flies .....

A few days ago I noticed the black flies were showing up and figured it must be almost Turkey Season . I havn't turkey hunted in a few years mostly because of these tiny pests . Took my walk tonight around 6:30 and the darned black flies were all over . Anyone else seeing this in their area ?

Borax ..... The 1st deer I ever shot was a small racked buck ( couldn't shoot a doe unless you had a party permit) . I hack-sawed the rack off and put Borax on the hair and meaty part and made a board to mount it on . The Borax did the trick .

I gave away several boxes of the Thunderbolts a couple years ago . I had it for a few years and think I paid around $13 for a brick . I think a lot of the Remington ammo is real dirty to shoot . That stuff really dirtied up my Ruger 22/45 pistol .

TC by the ditch that feeds the swamp
fasteddie replied to fasteddie's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
I have only been out by there 3 times to place and check the camera . Trying to figure out where to put a ladderstand where it won't be on a trail but close enough to shoot a deer . A couple trees are good but a stand on either would have me too much in the open . A lot of time left to figure it out . None of those deer look big enough to be carrying any babes . -
Hello from four friends (Gamey Outdoors)
fasteddie replied to MrGroundhog's topic in General Hunting
I bet that face paint job probably scared that buck to death ! -

Back to the MidWay bit ----- I don't buy too much from them as I think their shipping costs are quite high . The last thing I bought from them was a composite forearm and Youth Stock for a NEF rifle . I wasn't able to find these elsewhere .

Que mucho dinero ?

The guy that owns the property doesn't deer hunt but he hunts ducks and geese . That's about the main reason he bought this property . I have yet to get a shot at any deer on the property so I am due .

Glad he is okay . Two of my sons have bikes and I always worry about them .

I think I am going to send Larry Potterfield a Get Well Card ........

Beikirchs is one of the best ammo supply dealers around for miles . They can't get a lot of supplies . It goes out faster than it comes in . People are buying stuff up and hoarding it and some are selling it off at a profit . No doubt the same thing is happening at MidWay , MidSouth , Natchez , etc .. They can't sell what they cannot get . If you need something , don't wait to order because it will be gone in a flash !

I think I would leave it alone , note the location and notify the authorities .

Nice job !

His training wheels get stuck so he has to wait for the trail to dry out .

No problem with the safety switch . I put a jumper cable on the Hot and touched the other end to the starter screw . The starter motor turned a little bit ( slow ) but it wouldn't crank enough to start the mower . So it must be somewhere in the circuitry . I was running the battery down trying this so I will have to keep playing . Thanks again for the suggestions . Mothballs smell terrible plus it's hard to get their little legs apart !
