I try to get into a stand about one hour before legal time . It lets things settle down . I just sit back , close my eyes and listen to the woods wake up .
-
I have a bunch of stands up and don't use all of them .

Did you forget to take the Doggie Treats out of your pocket ???

I was down on Rt 21 in South Bristol today . The leaves are starting to change and it should be beautiful in a couple weeks .

My pin is set at 20 yards and adjustable .

I saw one about that size in Callicoon last week . We were driving back to Villa Roma and I caught the glint of eyes at night , slowed down and the fawn laying was next to the road . Yes it was alive and raised it's head up to look .

Some Groveland deer plus Tresspassers

This thread has gone to "pot" !!! No sumac around . I t is a very very small woods . I have permission to hunt the property to the East but it is thick as heck and difficult to get into let alone stalk . The land to the North is a High Grass area that doesn't get mowed .The owner died and no one does anything with the land . Northeast is a small woods but that landowner doesn't let anyone hunt it . The owner lives on the West side of Canandaigua Lake and I am going to try to see him today as I have a real Estate sign to install nearby . Here's hoping ! -
I take Granola Bars . Sometimes an apple or a banana .
-
I use the Limbsaver string leaches . My bow sounds much quieter when I don't have my hearing aids in my ears .
-
That was a pretty sickening deal !!!!!

Those two were walking on a deer trail heading for the tall grass in the field . I e-mailed the pic to 2 of my sisters to see if they know who is on the property . No deer any other days ??????? -
Left a trail cam on my sister's property . She inherited it when my Mom died . Used a StealthCam . Had the camera out for over a week .

I think Bubba was selling those in the Classifieds .... -
That's a heck of a mounting system with a lot of moving parts . My wife bought an EPIC Bow Camera a couple years ago . I need reading glasses to tell if it is On or Off . I thought I was filming a kill shot but apparently I didn't have the camera turned on . When the camera is mounted to the bow , it really amplifies the sound of the shot ! The EPIC system also has a clip so you can mount the camera to a hat but it has to be cocked on the hat to see the shot take place . The main thing is ......... you have to remember to hold the bow up so you can see the shot and follow the deer as it takes off .

If you want to stick with the WB , you can buy one of the older models on EBAY for about $40 with free shipping . You might be able to buy the replacement biscuits on there also . http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=whisker+biscuit+arrow+rest&_sacat=See-All-Categories

REv Ev mentioned a good point about what the stores stock . CORPORATE dictates what they carry . I was trying all over to get the 4" Quik-Spin" vanes at GM and Dick's . At 2 different Dick's stores , I was told that CORPORATE has the say in what is carried in their stores and feedback from the associates at Dicks falls on deaf ears . I bought the Vanes on EBAY .

And no doubt they consider feral hogs no different than woodchucks . I have seen woodchucks crawl to their holes opened up from butt to sternum with a 50 grain V-Max !

Apparently you havn't prayed hard enough for it to change !

Good luck with the QAD ultra rest . I had one about 3 years ago and got rid of it . Neither i nor the bow shop tech could get it tuned so there was no fletching contact . I sold it in classifieds on another site .

Right on . If a deer is close enough to count the points , he's close enough to shoot !

I e-mailed the pic of the woman on the horse to the property owner . I work part time for him . He is pretty laid back until someone screws with him . -
I don't think anyone ever came up with an explanation as to how the deer got tangled up with that swing !

Had a Trail cam out while on vacation . Had it facing south . It was necessary to enhance some of the pics ....... The gal on horseback was TresPassing and had no business there -
I was bow hunting at my SIL's about 10 years ago . I saw a monster at about 80 - 90 yards away . I have no idea how many points it had . I was only 10' up in a treestand but my jaw was on the ground . Only ever saw it once . I wish I had the binos and a camera with me at the time !
