I called Beikirchs yesterday to see if a RCBS item I had ordered a couple months ago had come in . The guy that answered the phone said RCBS was having a problem filling orders . Today I got a call from Beikirchs and was asked by Dave about my order . I told him about it and he said there was no problem with RCBS and he would personally take care of my order and call when the items arrive . My son and I have shopped there several times and they are a great company ! Many of the shops around the Rochester area are supplied by Beikirchs ...........

I took a copy of the price list for NEF HandiRifles from WalMart to Gander Mt and talked to the manager in the gun dept . He matched the price of a NEF 25-06 HandiRifle . When I picked it up , the manager told me that they were selling it at $5 less than it cost Gander Mt and lost money on the deal .

I was shooting woodchucks for farmers in Walworth and stopped when the price of gas went up . One of the farmers was giving a guy 5 deer crop damage permits every year . I asked for just one and was refused . I told the farmer that his deer shooter could shoot the woodchucks . Plus the guy that was filling the deer permits screwed me around .

I probably would . I could use the time that I normally spend practicing with the compound during the summer on other things . Not much practice needed with the X-bow . I would also probably hunt more from a ground blind than treestands and use a tripod to support the X-bow and take longer shots . I have seen the light !

They have plenty of employees in the Henrietta store . They are busy staying out of reach of the customers . When you do catch up with one , they are somewhat knowledgable and helpfull .

It sure sounded like a BS story ........

Wow , to be so lucky as to know so much and never get lost . : The boy scouts taught you well . I bought a GPS as a Toy to locate Geo Caches and find my way around state land that I am not familiar with and I also carry a compass . I have a GPS in the car that helps me locate house numbers so I don't need to pull out a map . My wife has a GPS on her phone that shows our location and the route to take with milage and approximate time to reach our destination . GPS's are fun to play around with . p.s. ----- I don't need matches . I can start a fire with a couple of sticks ......... ???

Single_Shot ----- It's fastened to 4 studs with 9 lag bolts . My son backed his pickup into the garage and we pulled it out of the truck-bed with the hoist . No problemo .........

I stopped at the Gander Mt in Statesville , NC a couple hours ago . They didn't have what I wanted and the clerk had no idea about any of the reloading gear ........ Gotta hit Beikirchs when I get home .

Have you ever seen one of those spring loaded mole killing gadgets ? It looks pretty cruel but lethal !

I might need a job when I get home from Flor-uh-duh . Spent a lot of money down here . I'll have to see if the Wal_Mart Greeter job is still open ..............

Visited BassPro in Orlando and they were out of several bullets and also several reloading items . Some of the prices at the small shops back home are less expensive than here . It was a wasted trip ! Maybe i'll check out the one in Charlotte , NC on the way home .

My favorite knife is a 4" fixed blade KABAR . I have had it for over 40 years .

Gas is $3.50 a gallon at a few places here in Orlando .............
