Personally , I only shot one . I take one each year . I was leery about doing this but if I didn't someone else would have . I could go out more and shoot more but choose not to do so .

Next year he can use a crossbow ........

We have shot deer with the DDPs in crop fields . It's does only and you can shoot up until 11pm and use artificial light . When it starts to get dark , we quit as we don't want to be shooting a rifle at night even though it's legal .

For deer the 130 gr core lokts will perform great and they aren't expensive .

My son sent me a couple pics from his phone cam before supper . It took me a little bit to figure out how to add the pics to my camera card so i could upload them on my computer . My youngest and oldest sons had gone to Italy Valley today and had no luck . Anyway , these are from the back window of his home in Honeoye falls .

I have seen the Barska scopes in the Sportsman's Guide but have never physically seen one . i always wondered about their quality . They appear to be quite inexpensive .

I would like to see bow season start two weeks earlier and then take away the last week of bow season and give it to the gun hunters so the two extra weeks would be split . Check out some of the fields in the summertime and you will see plenty of deer . They go into stealth mode durung the hunting seasons .

I got in my stand before daylight this am . It faces South so the cold wind was blowing at my face . I have a cold and spent most of my time wiping my nose and suppressing any coughs . Got down and did some walking . Never saw anything . Visited with my mother and left . The sun came out this afternoon but I am all congested and figured I had enough . I have a sore throat and really feel crappy . I was really bummed out with not seeing anything as I had been quite optomistic . Not much time left . I had seen vehicles pulled off at different spots along the roads on the way to Groveland . All of them were gone when I headed home around 12:30 . Apparently I wasn't the only Wimp out there today .

I don't see any frost on the Ml ...... It was cold today !

I was being facetious with my post as it was ML season and the 3 rapid shots didn't come from a ML . Someone was definately shooting a shotgun . But , thanks for the reloading tip .

They must have a new ML speedloader on the market . When I was on Lima Rd in Geneseo yesterday , I heard 3 fairly rapid shots . Sounded like shotgun blasts . Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm !

Got the trailer hooked up and ready to roll in the morning . I'll be heading for God's Country ( Groveland ) .

Yeah , he will be looking pretty good in a couple of years .........
