I was being facetious with my post as it was ML season and the 3 rapid shots didn't come from a ML . Someone was definately shooting a shotgun . But , thanks for the reloading tip .

They must have a new ML speedloader on the market . When I was on Lima Rd in Geneseo yesterday , I heard 3 fairly rapid shots . Sounded like shotgun blasts . Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm !

Got the trailer hooked up and ready to roll in the morning . I'll be heading for God's Country ( Groveland ) .

You have to go in and check it daily . I have seen some for a much higher price . The one I have has a price tag on it for $199.99 . $80 off the price isn't bad ............I'll try to keep an eye out for you .

I always have to laugh when I hear Jeff Foxworthy explains about Ice Fishing up North . He discuss' how we think RedNecks are crazy and then he gets into us standing on ice , cutting holes in the ice and then when we get cold building fires out on the ice . Hellllllllllo !

I bought A Rescue One CDS on EBAY and it was delivered yesterday . They had it listed for $119.99 with no shipping fee . It is done in Mossy Oak . My youngest son bought a HSS Harness so I think I will give my HSS harness to my oldest son .......but only if he promises to use it . And , NO , I don't plan on trying it on and jumping out of a stand to test it ! ??? Not right away anyway ! :

At least the tree should be safe . But you should probably hang a back tag on it . Oh wait , you don't need to do that where you live / hunt ! ;D

I buy the tree , put it up and install the lights . From there on , it's the wife's job . She was complaining about not having enough branches the past few years . This tree shut her up !

Probably too hard to use a recurve,compound or long bow. They could have just as easily showed a picture of a rifle and spotlight ........

There is ice on the creek and ditch and some in the pond field but the actual ground isn't frozen firm . It was a high of 26 degrees today . It was cold enough to make walking a bit crunchy .

I am dreading the end of deer season . Without it , I am afraid that there will be months of discussions of nothing but , Baiting , Antler Restrictions , Hunter Orange , crossbows , Wearing Back Tags , and Safety Harness' . ??? ... ??? ... ??? ... ??? ... ???

Struck out in Geneseo today . I was in the blind for 3+ hours this am and saw nothing . It had snowed pretty good for a while . I took a walk but it was rough . The ground isn't frozen and retains water . There are horse trails and walking them is like walking through a gushy plowed field . The woods is underwater and the creek / ditch doesn't flow . Anyway , I was trying to walk through the pond field on a horse trail and lost my balance . I caught movement out of the corner of my eye and saw 3 tails hauling butt . I assumed they were doe and they were heading toward the ditch so there was no way to try to tail them . I walked back up to my vehicle by way of the gulley . Saw nothing . Went to the village and got something to eat . Was back at the blind by 1:30 and stayed until 4:15 . In the future , I think I will avoid this hunting location if there is a real wet season . I would like to be able to get the okay to cut a couple trails in the gulley and bow hunt that spot . So , today was a bust but at least I saw a few deer . Saw some on the way home also ( in fields off Rt 390 ) . I might give Groveland a try Saturday .
