    I have 3 Range Finders . The 1st one I ever bought is the one in the left of the picture . It was called TLR 75 RANGING and manufactured in East Bloomfield , NY . It sometimes had to be calibrated and the directions were right on the unit . You look through the sight and see what you are measuring to and also see a yardage screen . You moved the dial until the objects line up and were focused ( like the old 35 mm cameras ) . I used it when we use to hunt the Wooly Mamouths and Saber Tooth Tigers .

    I have a HALO with the ARC . I can't memorize the distance from so many stands so I find this handy . I bought it for less than $100 on sale several years ago .

    Yes . I asked my son to put the chair , the cushioned rails and the skirt on the stand so it would air out and the deer could get use to it .

    I am out Opening day and whenever else I can get out . I make it an all day affair so I find it difficult to hunt two days in a row . I need my sleep . Except for a spot in Walworth , I have to drive either 40 or 50 miles to two other spots .

    Moved my Tri-Pod stand into the hedge row at my son's property in Honeoye Falls . Haven't attached the swivel seat or the camo skirt on it yet .

    I wonder if Armor All would work if you wiped it on before taking the X-Bow to the woods . I have used Armor All on my practice arrows to make it easier to pull them out of the 3-D targets ,

    I have passed on a few bucks in the past only to find out that a hunter on an adjacent property had shot it . At 79 , I might not be so picky anymore . Don't like eating those Buck tags !

    Read an article a few days ago that stated a Freeze could ruin the Farmer's corn crops . Since a lot of corn is milky , the freeze could cause mold and mildew which would ruin the corn crops .

    Has anyone had any experience using Scent Thief as a cover scent ? Almost all reviews are positive . Only one was negative . "Scent Thief = is the ONLY PRODUCT that uses patented "No Smell" technology, which shuts down an animal's ability to smell. It relaxes the animal's olfactory epithelium so it can no longer detects odors of any kind, including human odor."

    Higher wages would increase the price of products . Higher wages in the fast food industry is creating job loss due to automation . $15 to flip burgers or use a micro wave is ridiculous !

    I like HuntStand . You can get the property lines on it as well as the alleged property owner . I can see the property lines on Monroe and Livingston counties but not Wayne .

    I have a couple of ambush spots where when the deer come out of the thickets on a trail are quite close . I had been practicing from 20 and 30 yards . I set up a few targets at 7 and 13 yards and shot 24 arrows from my backyard tree stand before supper and another 24 tonight . Never actually practiced shooting at this close range . Gotta figure out where to hit the target at 7 yards so that the exit hole is right .
