Chef - You were smart to hook the harness to the tree before working on the ladderstand . If you couldn't get the strap for the stand around the tree , how did you have your harness attached to anything ?

My Walworth cams get checked every 3 - 4 weeks . My Geneseo cams are 50 miles away and get checked whenever I can get there . The last time was a 3 month period . The weeds , etc grew up and triggered the cams . I had a lot of pics of nothing but did have many good pics .

I have the 4 Jarts but not the rings . I could probably pick up a couple of Hula Hoops at the dollar store for the rings . Jarts were dangerous when played with a few drinkers !

I bet most shots are 20 yards or less .

If I did that I would have some guy in a Green Outfit tapping me on the shoulder . It's not wotth it to take a chance to get fined and possibly have the license suspended .

I ordered an item from a business in Charlotte , NC on August 4 . It was shipped that day and turned over to the USPS . I finally received my order on August 22 . It only took 18 days . That's rediculous . A Pony Express Rider could have done better !

I have the centerpoint 370 and like it . I find the scope to be satisfactory . I haven't shot it a lot .

My sons and I have shot antlerless deer during the summer with nuisance permits . We have never stayed out to shoot after dark even though it is legal . It's legal to do until 11pm according to the documents . Our farmer passed away and his nephew can't be bothered to do the paperwork to get the permits . The farmer had stated that he was losing thousands of dollars in crop damage in the Pittsford - Mendon area . We had been doing this in the August / September months .

My ass sets at the Holland Hotel in Jersey City , NJ . My wife and I drove down today to visit my 45 year old son . Duffy was released from the hospital yesterday after having several tests over a 4 day period . It was determined that he had several Mini Strokes plus his corroted artery on his right side was pinched . Hard to believe as he eats healthy and is a walking machine . He works in NYC so he walks a ways to the subway and from the subway to his job plus to the store , shopping etc . . Never would have thought of him having a stroke . Delivered some goodies to him and we plan to stay until Monday am . I hate driving down here . People beep their horn at you when you are waiting at a Red light . They're nuts !At least they have WiFi at the hotel .
