I had a Whisker Biscuit a few years ago . Thought it was great . I started using Quick Spin Arrow Vanes and had to go to a drop away rest . The tabs on the quick spin vanes would catch & drag on the Whisker Biscuit .

Went to Geneseo this am and met up with my oldest son . We did a couple jobs for my SIL and then went to work . Put up two ladder stands and moved two other ladder stands to better locations . Pulled some camera cards and left . Got a lot done . i'm whipped !

How to make a Draw Board for about $25

Some bowhunters have to have a bow with the latest technology and will buy a new bow every couple years . They sell their 2 year old bow for a reasonable price . Once a new bow is out of the store , it depreciates fast ( like cars ) . The are a lot of good deals out there for 2 year old bows .

Good question . The ladder legs are fixed but the other two legs have holes for 6 or 7 incremental adjustment . I plan to put all the legs on pieces of 2" X 12" boards so the feet can't sink into the ground . The area where we are going to place the stand is a bushy area with a couple of 6" diameter trees to anchor it to . I don't think it would be safe to use this in an area where it would be free standing and not anchored to something . It has a rail that goes all the way around but if someone got careless they could still fall . We haven't figured out where to fasten a harness strap to yet .

I found the Jet Sled to be great at my spot in Geneseo . The woods are wet in the winter doesn't drain and hold the water The walls of the sled help keep the deer from getting soaked .

I was going to put my Tripod Stand on a property in Geneseo . Due to the land owner's health condition I changed my mind . I took it my son's property in Honeoye Falls and we assembled it today . We did the assembly in an open area on part of his property but plan to move it toward the back about 100 yards . Didn't put the swivel seat or skirt on it yet .It's 15' to the top rail .

After going through several pages of rock climbing harness'es , I did see a couple full body harness'es . I think I will stay with my HSS vest .

I looked up the Rock Climbing Harness and wasn't impressed . They appear to go around the waist and thighs . Seems like if you fell , you could end up upside down !
