I agree i don't head hunt eathier...it would be nice to shoot a big buck around here where i hunt but i don't think a Ar will fix that.... i meat hunt don't care if its buck or doe if i have the tags its in the freezer and could care less about horns

Want better and more bucks...make it so you have to apply for a dmp for bucks not just doe...and if not that then do away with doe permits and make it mandatory one doe tag a year and make it earn a buck tag....basically you can't shoot a buck till you fill your doe tag make this for gun and bow....but none of this will matter if there's not enough dec to enforce said rules....around here it takes dec 2 hours to respond to any call.....those who want antler restrictions mainly are people who own or lease property...which is fine but when i hunt on land wheretheres no dec around how does that help us... cause people around here don't care

Been with my wife goin on 14 years. . she cuts up my deer cause she didn't like it when i did it cause she says i ruin to much meat lol. from then on she's always done it...lol I've been kicked out of the laundry room for years. to...sorry if your girls ain't into butchering and hunting.... .... shoot even my kids help cut up the deer.....

Shot this old doe at 40 yards ...never knew i was there . i just moved my ladder stand last week i don't think the deer paid any attention to it i love hunting in snow.

First snow of the year for us....its still snowing pretty good up here can't wait for the morning hunt...

Holey hell what happend to this thread... i will say that around here people who hunt fields shoot way before 705 but there's also no dec presance i hear shots all night even at 1 or 2 in the morning...it could be a coyote hunter with a shotgun but that would be wishful thinking.....but after hunting the same property for over 10 years i can say most of the neighboring propertys start shooting atleast 15 minutes before legal time and the guys that hunt the fields lol lets just say that if its a full moon they are shooting....scary to hear ......good luck guys back to hunting..

I wish snow was in the forecast for my area but nope just wind and rain .... and to top it all off there's a bear that decided to make my hunting area his home which scared the deer right out of the Spot

How many bears are killed in ny that are 500lbs a year not many i bet

Dec says the average black bear for ny is 250-300 pounds if that pic is real that's a giant.... and when our good governor ask why we may need more than 7 rounds he should be shown this pic lol imagine running into that thing in the dark Yikes

Around here bye me the moon ain't gonna effect the deer once the orange army enters opon the state land the deer come running...the property i hunt is only 5min from there ...the key is patience ...cause on opening day the deer don't know where to run weather they want to move or not....
