That's great. Leave it to some government arm-pit sniffer to mandate Jello and outlaw my freedom to wrestle in puddin'. Well if thats the law of the land then so be it. No one will accuse me of being some sort of Game law breaking, Nugent groupie.
-
Doc, you asked so i'll give you my opinion. Better yet. you got a mirror.
-
I hate jello, i don't know why you jack weeds don't just use pudding instead. Only an idiot would use jello. Bunch of commie lib, union tree huggin, blaze orange wearin' jello suckin' pantie weights..

OK, i just checked my recent visitors. I'm really sorry that i aggravated you Paula.

I can carry 2 in the clip and one in the chamber on my 12 guage bolt action, so i will throw a few extra in my pocket just in case. 06' I added a tactical cheekpad with built in cartridge holder.

Sometimes just to be nosey, but most often it's for some of the reasons Doc mentioned. I remember one discussion i was having with a fella when i first joined the forum. It was one of those "let the small deer walk" topics and i was arrogantly spewing my views and i just was having no impact on this ignorant guy. LOL Then i went to his profile and saw he hunts the ADK with primitive tackle and probably still hunts. Kinda felt a bit foolish. Sometimes the profile can give you some insights on a persons point of view.

First Elmo, I do not except the most basic premis of this statement and more importantly, neither does our Constitution. The flaw is that somehow freedom has to benifit the majority or the lack of freedom is ok as long as the majority benifits from it. The Constitution was purposely written as individual rights because they knew that collective rights could be used by currupt governments to restrict freedom. That is how we won that major 2nd ammendment battle a few years back.

This is exactly the way he meant it and it is exactly the way i took it when i first read it. With all due respect Splitg2 (and i do respect your opinions) I think you mis-interpeted that statement. Too bad the original poster of that quote didn't clarify his statement and saved some hard feeling. And WNY. Doc will never get it. not only did hesuggest that some are condoning trespassing, but he topped that by implying some are even encouraging it.. HUH.. Not to mention the psycho-analysis of all posters who did not agree with his point of view. Surprised he didn't conclude that we must have been breast fed as babies or that we were clearly potty trained to late in life. LOL

keep up the great posts Doc.

Eddie, I'm sure you'll figure out what's best in this case. It's you land and you have to do what you think is right.

I actually may be a bit generous with the 10% apple crop. Only checked the trees heading along the main laneway that are usually showing some saggin' branches by now. There are apples on some but just as many trees have nothing on them.

Sorry Paula, Just callin' this one as i see it. During hunting season or if the guy was carrying a machete on his hip, I might feel different. But it's a 12 yr old on his bike in the summer with a helmet on. Find out who it is if you must, go talk to the family and maybe you will make a friend. Rather then an enemy that will be out to get you when he gets older because you were so harsh this time. And for those that think only a trespasser would condone such an act. Well, guilty as charged. As a young teenager we wondered the woods exploring what was around every bend or hilltop. And the posted Hallbecker pond was the best skinny dippin water hole in the county. LOL

You are totally right on this one Doewacker. And Lawdwaz as well. Funny stuff

I've made these as well and your right, they do a good job stopping arrows but i've been looking to find something other then burlap or seed bags. If you leave them out in the elements, the plastic ones can wear out pretty fast. Not saying this case is the ultimate answer but i think it will not break down like burlap. -
Elmo, i fear that this statement proves that you are not thinking rationally on this subject. Your emotions and jealousy have clouded your willingness to see the dangers you are putting on a public forum. It's thinking like this that shows how powerful class warfare can be and why it is a key tactic for socialists everywhere. I love when people claim they love freedom but then start laying down their conditions to that freedom. I also love when people are more apt to believe that the government is somehow less corrupt then a private company. And what the heck is incentive based democracy? Or incentive based capitalism? And lastly, It's none of your GD business what some 60 year old has made in his lifetime and what the hell makes you think that because he might be rich, that he's still not HUMAN. What only working class people have pride? Only working class people want to prove they are worthy of climbing the mountain. Only noble workers have the desire to leave a legacy to the family they love? God programmed these things in all man's DNA so that we would fight to survive. Why would anyone purposely try to squelch that? It's dispicable. CEO's by the VAST majority are good and honest people. Show me a good and honest tyrant??

I wasn't really planning on buying one at good will but it was one of those light-bulb moments and i had to see if it would work right then. So i payed the $6.99 on the way to the range. Now i'll be on the lookout for free-bees and continue to pick up stuffed animals where ever i can. I get more and more Red Neck the older i get. And Dang proud of it. LOL If i could only find a use for this washing machine sitting on my porch. ?? -
Eddie, wasn't it you that had the trespassers last year also. The guy and girl that looked like a nooner, bootie call?
-
Well as dispicable as it might seem on the surface, you never know about someones life circumstances or motivations about selling a buck. Thats why i would never say i would "never" sell a buck. And i'm not sure i would even look badly on the practice. I've heard in alot of cases where they have a replica made and sell the original. In this case, i'm sure the rack went for many hundreds of thousands if not millions being that it was thought to maybe be a new world record. Would i sell a buck if i knew it would ensure my kids go to college. You bet. Would i sell a buck so that my family could live in a safe environment. You bet. If i was one of the millions of unemployed people in this country and was under a pile of debt and maybe gonna loose my home. You bet. Luckily none of these things apply in my life but everyones life is different and the sale of a rack does not always make you a scumbag in my opinion. Heck, half the hunters in this country throw the horns in the garbage and only eat the meat. Is that somehow more respectful to the animals we love to hunt.. Idk
