  1. Atleast have front and rear iron sights. If you have good eye sight that should be enough, if not you may want to throw a scope or dot sight on it.
  2. I had a few stands stolen in one year I was about to put a hang on stand in a tree with steps and saw one of the top ones so that any weight would make it break lol..

  4. I don't know much about coyote hunting but would like to give it a whirl this year. Ive shot some while deer hunting and when i saw them out in our field in Indiana.. I hate those things wack em and stack em
  5. I haven't gotten out for squirrels yet, mite go next week and scout for deer at the same time. I use a .17hmr it makes short work of the squirrels gotta hit em in the head though or lose some of the very little meat thats on them.
  6. Congrats on your new bow! I was just looking at some as mine is my dads old bow that he gave to me when he got a new one and id like something a little newer. Is it just me or are the new bows on the market just getting ugly? I know the deer don't care but I kinda do
  7. I dont know of anywhere to hunt right around here thats why I go to the Alabama swamps... If you know of any private land owners that will give permission to hunt their land feel free to shoot me a pm with details or on any pieces of public land in the area that I can hunt

  10. Right on something else to shoot at in the woods
  11. Im origionaly from Niagra county in lockport then we moved to Indiana in 2000 and moved here last year around this time
  12. You can try setting out some deer blocks in the spring, and summer when hunting season is over. That will bring some deer in to your cameras. When we had 7 acres of land in Indiana I put a mineral block in a rotting stump out in the woods, the deer didn't just eat the block, but they ate the hole stump and some of the dirt around it.
  13. I went in and got my licenses today and got 2 8g tags on the spot

    Hello

Hey im Jeremy, and I hunt in the Alabama swamps, and the Adirondack mountains mostly for deer, but do a little small game hunting every once in a while. I just got back from the Adirondacks this week from a 4 day black bear hunt but didn't get anything and I am going back in November for deer. I like to hunt all seasons including bow, though I still haven't taken the NYS required course to bow hunt here (im from Indiana and didn't need it there), so I will be sitting the bow hunting season out this year.
