Yeah I through the magpul stuff on to save money initially and actually get to shoot the dang thing.. Ill keep the stock and the grip but plan to replace the hand gaurd with a free float rail

Ordered a H&R 12 gauge ultra slug deluxe through gun genie today based on several good reviews ive seen on it and its price point Now from what ive read this is a pretty accurate 12 gauge. Anybody have one? What slugs have you found shot the best out of it? Im thinking about getting some of the Remington acutips to try but im also tempted just to get some lightfeilds cause I Know they are a good slug

I know from experience that the 240 grain xtp hollow points work great

I took a treestand climbing belt and tied a rope to it and i put the climbing belt over my shoulder

Tie a rope to the sling go up in the stand and pull it up... make sure its unloaded and on safe first of course

One doe.. I found her a couple days later drug into a feild and torn up by coyotes

If you think the deer heard in western ny is suffering you obviously dont do much driving around at night

I hope you get another shot at the buck that you missed! I dont beat myself up on things like this for long... I will for the rest of the day then I start focusing on the hunt again

Im sure most of us have heard about people getting cut on a sharp broad head in a deer when field dressing it lol

The deer should die.. You did the right thing by heading in and not trying to follow it IMO

as far as I know it is legal so make sure you feild dress your deer in strategic places
