If you dont feel safe hunting with somebody because they drink then dont hunt with them.. simple as that

I used to ride a noisy dirtbike through the woods all the time and would see deer almost every time... a few kids playing paintball arent going to drive them away -

If I had a shot on that deer id kill him his mother his father his children his sister his brother IDC if a deer steps in range and I have a clear shot its going down Small buck big buck small doe big doe... they all taste magnificent

Maybe somebody got out of work at 2am, and are doing a little spotlighting on theyre way home? Just because you dont seem to enjoy spotlighting, just to SEE some deer, dosnt mean nobody else does either. Stop jumping to conclusions that they are out poaching.

I wouldnt mind orange arrows just for target practice... they would be a heck of alot easier to find when you miss than camo ones

Eat however many we kill.. When there is venison in the freezer we don't waste money on mad cow disease -
That is a totaly different scenario, you are not risking wounding another animal by shooting a bird on the ground.

I don't pheasant hunt and don't know the laws for it, but if its legal to shoot them on the ground I wouldn't think twice.

Thanks for sharing I enjoyed reading this. I didn't even take a picture of my first deer, which I cant believe, but I can remember exactly what it looked like, and exactly how she came in. And go through a play by play in my mind of everything that happened between the time when I first saw her come out in the ope,n and when I finally got her strung up to bleed out.

We have done it before just to see the deer, not in any hopes of being able to shoot them.

They should just leave the crossbows available for regular season compound bows take enough of the challenge out of archery crossbows take all the challenge out its just like shooting a gun

tie my hoist rope to my bow/gun and climb up and realize I forgot to tie it to my climbing tree stand Leave the release at home (its happend way to many times) See a deer come in and realize I dont even have an arrow on the string -
