It's also good w/ root beer...gives a sweetness to the chicken

short walks & short sits, especially if you are not seeing anything. Prevent boredom, and if they want to go back to the house or whatever take them back. The last thing you want to do is turn them off to it by making it a "chore" Good luck & enjoy !

I too, after many, many yesrs of gun took up archery last year at the prompting of my son who was interested. I started practicing every day from end of sept and was VERY FORTUNATE and LUCKY to have shot a very nice 6 pointer my first ever time in the bow stand, Nov 5th. So if you have the time to shoot 10-15 arrows every day from it is conceivable you could be ready, but it's a matter of personal preferance and comfort with the bow and your ability. I agree with most all of the comments here, and am also happy to see someone offered you a bow for free, which is what my friend did for me. I just put a deposit on a new Mission Riot and am stoked for the upcoming season. I make my final deposit on it next week. I wish you all the best and hope you enjoy it. I am addicted, but not just because I shot a deer, because to me it's not about shooting anything, to me it's quality time with good friends and family in the field and after the hunt sharing a meal some great conversation and making memories.

few pulll offs along 28, make a left just past the boiceville inn, you may need the dep permit?? also just past town hall in Shandaken, also under the bridge in Phoenicia. 2 spots on Old 28 in Shandaken make a rt off 28 just past fire house drive 100 or so yds on 42 then left on Old 28 (cr 47) both on left about 1.5-2 miles down

I could offer a few useless opinions 1. a sign saying these premises under video survelliance 24/7 and a "dummy" camera w/ infra red lite , a friend has similar set up on his house. 2. a real security system w/ 4 cams $299 from Costco, got one for my house it's great and easy to use can be viewed from your phone, laptop and or TV and you can set up "alerts" when a camera detects motion. Worth the price ! If you want info on the cam system feel free to PM me

What is their re-sale price when they put your used gun back on the rack??? I am sure they make a good buck.

I too am looking, and am really leaning towards the mission venture( they are very budget friendly). I inquired about a week ago and got some great feedback from the people on here. Good luck.

Anyone have any experience w/ the mission bows? Would like some feedback. Positive and negative. I am looking for a new bow and saw the "Craze" reasonably priced, (dont want to break my already broken bank !) It starts @ $300 Thanks in advance

yesterday afternoon my 10 year old daughter fell off her bike, got a concussion, cuts, scrapes, bruises, and knocked her front tooth out of place. she looks like she went 15 rounds with a prize fighter. Thankfully she was wearing her helmet which the ER doc said prevented a much more serious head injury. I know most kids dont like wearing them...we never did, but the helmet did it's job. Summer is here and the kids should be out riding playing and having fun, but take it from me a helmet costs $ 25 so go get one and make sure they wear it.

Building my deer blind
Big Indian replied to Gizmo285's topic in DIY - Do It Yourself, tutorials and videos
what are you going to do to blend it in ? paint, camo netting etc? and more importantly, do you want to make one for me???? LOL -
This method works as it was used on me. I had one in the top of my foot after spring turkey last year, my buddy put dish soap on it and it was off in a matter of seconds.

So sorry to hear, he will always be hunting & fishing with you. May he rest in peace
