  1. I've got a CVA .45 cal with Bushnell scope I'd sell
  2. If the pines are as thick as you say, they might be using it for a bedding area. I would avoid walking through there and put a few cameras up in the periphery. If you know the area around you, try to determine where you think the closest food source would be and I'd get a cam up in the transition area. If you don't know the area, aerial maps are a huge help. Use them to identify neighboring food sources the deer might be using if there aren't any on your property. Also, if possible, an evening drive around the area you can hunt might help. Scouting open fields or lots that are nearby can help determine deer numbers and type. Blind location is going to be determined by the type of hunting you plan on doing (bow, gun, muzzleloader) and how close you need to be. Hope this helps, good luck.
  3. Nice pics! I've been seeing tons of turkeys this summer on our property. Two separate flocks of hens with poults. One is about 25 birds and the other is 10. Plus there are a few toms strutting around as well. Wannabe, he's a dandy. He 5 this year??
  4. That's awesome. I'm trying to figure out a time to get cams out down there. I'm thinking next weekend and then they'll be there for a good 3 weeks before I can get back down. I know a giant 10 made it through the season, maybe I can get some pics!
  5. Some pretty impressive bucks there.
  6. It's measure your arm span and divide by 2.5. That's a good place to start, but for reference I'm 5' 10" and shoot 29" maybe a hair over, but minor adjustments can be made easily if you or your pro shop are good.
  7. You just have to buy the other mods for it.
  8. This is a good one to start with [emoji38]!
  9. 2014 Obsession Evolution 65 lb, 29" draw, WK custom strings with about 500 shots on them. Stormy original with red cams. Bow is in excellent condition and shoots great. Bare bow (comes with Clearshot archery peep) with half dozen brand new Blackout X1 Pro arrows (made by GT). 288 Fps through the chrono with my 430 grain hunting arrow. Asking $600 or BO. Would consider shipping. I have a new bow so this one is up for sale. .
  10. I'll go with the majority here, 120's gross, looks like a 3 year old.
  11. Beans but not soybeans. If the deer take to the new crop like they do soybeans, you'll be in for a treat most of the fall. Enjoy...
  12. I would assume this time of year it would be winter wheat. It's pretty much a waste of money to plant soybeans this time of year, even if they are group 1.0. From experience, the latest we've planted soybeans of group 1.0 is June 14. I'm not saying it's not possible but I wouldn't risk it. Was it a corn field that was planted this year and went to crap?
  13. Need CAD assistance or you have that covered? I'd be interested in seeing them when finished.
  14. First one might blossom into a basket 8. Not knowing where these are, it looks like a 1 year old in comparison to my area. The other one looks like he might eventually be an 8. Tough to tell age from that angle. Good luck.
  15. That pic is from 3 weeks ago. Corn looks better now! Haha
  16. This guy showed up in the corn field. Not sure which buck he is from last year yet. Time will tell.
  17. Thanks for the input guys. Most of my property has been worked at some point in the last 10 years. I gave her a go yesterday on some ground that hasn't been touched in a while and it did well. I had it set pretty shallow and just made several passes. I'm pretty impressed so far. I'll try post up a video of it in action!
  18. We have an older walk behind that runs great and in no way what so ever is that fun to use! But our main garden is 50 X 100 and we have a smaller one that is 20 X 40 as well. So I splurged and bought a 5' tiller for the tractor. I should have mentioned that earlier! The thing is awesome. Took about 10-15 minutes to do both gardens.
  19. So just bought a new tiller last week and finally got to use it yesterday. Hot damn does that thing kick some butt! I tilled our gardens and was so amazed I went and tore up some new ground for a food plot. Having lunch now then going to go spray roundup and find some more ground to tear up.
  20. I just listed it there, was trying to avoid shipping but don't think that will happen. This is a nice bow, just don't need 3!
