Try all you want, there is no justification for the language. I would think with that big bad title of SUPER MODERATOR you would know better. -
Terrorist attack on Boston Marathon?

Check out the site rules. Virgil din't break them. You did. Trust me, he and I are on opposite sides of about 99.9 % of issues but you went over the line. No justification for it. What site do you have that allows the use of that kind of language? Or do you just think it is appropriate here? -

Hung, I am not a Moderator. It was only some friendly advice. To me there is just a difference and busting a guys chops on spelling doesn't justify that use of language. If you can't see that than I can't imagine you ever being a benefit to this site -

Hung. I know it is emotional times but we do have women and kids on this site. We can argue and disagree all day on the issues but there isn't a place for that language here. -

It was the left wing media that, during the live coverage saide it was either terrorists or right wing extremists. Couldn't have been left wing extremists? Wanna bet if it is a muslim there will be non stop banter about how you can't hold all muslims at fault for it, but if it is a radical right wing groupg every conservative and tea party member will be at fault. -

Belo is right, He was just pumping up the performance of the shot not he "hunt" and he never did say it was in NY. We have meny members from PA here and FYI there is no closed season on the yotes there. -
Go with either a quick point type of a site or do what I do when trap or skeet shooting ( and in the same boat as here) Put safety glasses on her and either use a small piece of tape or something to just take out the pupil line of site while aiming. This allows you to see all around fine and still have depth perception and you don't lose the peripherial sight but it makes you right eye register when in the aiming position becasue the bead is blocked out by the tape. I used to have these small static sticker dots I used when I was wearing prescription glasses a lot.

Sorry but they cease to be wildlife if they enter my house. Outside, a whole different story.

New Deer Hunting Show on History Channel
Culvercreek hunt club replied to nyantler's topic in Deer Hunting
In CT I think bow season opens around mid September and they can hunt 1/2 hour before sunrise. So if Sunrise were 5:30 they could hunt at 5 am. -
Taking the new scouts on a snipe hunt was a tradition in our Troop. Best way to do it is the have a burlap bag and a stick. It only works at night as they roost on the lower branches as night. You have to be very very quiet and sneak up to a tree. One newbie holds the burlap sack open and the other hits the tree trunk with the stick. It startles them from their sleep and when they jump out of the tree to get away, if you are very very lucky they land in the burlap bag. See reference to left handed smoke bender, sky hooks and watt rocks and current bushes....lol

From the County Clerk's office. Start with the closest address you can identify on the road and if possible determine the distance from that property to the one you want to knwo about. It isn't that hard to do.

Really? Where did I do that? I did point out that there are areas (States) that are open 365 and you guys have no idea where this guy is from. So before you get on a high horse and call a guy a poacher you should perobably have all the info. But at least we know where you stand. Poaching is bad but slander is OK. gotcha. -

Good Point Doc. When you look at the mechanics of a cartrige, it really hasn''t changed since the Civil War. Think of all the other advances and there has been baby steps in cartrige technology compared to other industries. My Grandfather was alive from the first flight at Kittyhawk through landing on the moon. Amazing what a few generations have witnessed. -
with .30-06 around $2 per round and one of these at a dollar a shot. Wonder if they have a hand held version...lol http://www.lanl.gov/science/NSS/issue1_2012/story5full.shtml Of course my ought 6 didn't cost over 30 million for an initial investment

Anyone know where he is from? You do realize there are states with no closed season for them, one being directly to our south.
