SO you are capable of protecting yourself against an armed gunman. sure. whatever helps you sleep at night. I sleep just fine knowing my chances of survival are better in my own hands. I don't need vast volumes of evidence to prove that I am better of with a CCW to protect myself. there are cases and I am confident in my ability to use it. If you aren't that is your choice. Just make sure your family know the wording so they can etch " I chose to be a victim" on you headstone. -

More like a love of life. Mine, my family's or any innocent being preyed on by an animal like this guy. You can choose to sit and take a round with a smile on your face, I choose not to. -

to protect yourself. You obviously think that having a weapon is useless against an armed criminal. -

He shot all available "targets" in both locations. The AR would have made no difference. -

Cuomo was speeding to Herkimer with his eyes, fingers, toes legs and arms crossed just hoping it was an "assault weapon" or pistol that was used. you talk about proof that you need to protect yourself, this is it. Herkimer has a police force and I believe Mohawk does as well. Herkimer county does NOT have a patroling Sheriff dept but NYS troop D barracks is right in East Herkimer. This scum was able to shoot 4 and then drive a mile and shoot two more and then drive about another mile and make into that building with no police being able to lay eyes on him. The county office building is right around the corner from whee he holed up and the Library is right across the street. Luckily he didn't make it to either one of those places. As close as police agencies were to these crime scenes they could not react fast enough to stop any of them and the isn't their fault. It is the nature of the beast. -

In the upper right corner of the screen there is a button for "view new content". it lists all the newest threads responded to.each thread has a button on the right to empand and show the first and last comment for each thread. When you have read a thread already or commented in it or read it it showed the first comment of the thread and the last comment of the thread but also the last read comment of the thread. you could click on it and it would take you into the thread as that comment spot so you didn't have to scroll through pages of old comments. now when you click on the last read comment it sends you back to the first comment of the thread. I also can't see attachments. -

also when you used to be able to go to a topic you have commented on and there was the first comment of the thread and the first unread comment and the last comment. If you clicked on the first unread comment it took you to it. Now it takes you tot he very first comment of the thread and you have to scroll thorough. -
depends on the sections, Doc. I heard over loading a mag in home is violation for first offense but the head up from there and I believe the sales without proper background checks is a Felony. I will see if I can find a highlight sheet i saw on another site .

That is my home town. I grew up there and know these places. They believe he is holed up in and old vacant elementary school. -
Better know the one you are selling to then. I bet there will be sting operations for this just for the media sake.

I believe I read that both have to go together. I guress if the people were on opposite ends of the state the buyer could go to a FFL and get a background check run. Once the FFL confirms that the check was passed I would think you could then actually ship to FFL for the transfer. That is the only way I see it working , but who knows? Typical cart before the horse.
