How about this one guys? I do thik they should be allowed for those above a certain age or disability. I also think there should be a youth age allowance (maybe up to and including 16?) I also think it should be up to the landwoners do decide the amount of pressure they will impose on their property. Make them legal on private land. -
Doc at your age, every time you walk down to the kitchen in the morning it is like living in a brand new house...lol. Just kidding.

The "hunting" is as hard . the shooting part of the 'hunt" isn't. If you consider the hunt to be the shot I will give you that the crossbow is easier. Up to and after that part the hunt is the same. I don't remember anyone saying a crossbow was NOT easier to actually shoot. I have seen several comments about them not having the vast "advantages" that are often claimed that they have. -
If you were to shoulder it it would DEFINITELY be considered a SBR and you do not want that charge. Fromthe looks of it the stock would just come back past your wrist joint. That would give you a bit mor stabilization but to put that stock against your shoulder I would think that hammer would be just in front of your nose. I don't think I would want to try that.

It is wrist stabilization.

And it is about the right season for all of them to start over again anyways...lol

But that was 100% my fault and a bad case of buck fever that I hadn't felt in a while...lol. It wasn't form or from practice. If that was a paper target out there it would have been dead...lol. I do much better on buck when I cant watch them for 30 minutes before the shot. Ain't adrenaline great!!!. -
Criminal possession inthe 3rd degree is a D felony. I thik if I purchased a Glock (Becasue some stores are saying they will sell the guns after April 15th without the mags) Right now you can buy them with a 10 round mag. but after April 15th you can't. I can buy a 10 round mag in PA though. If I bring that back and posess it it would fall under the Class D felony postion of the law. DB- You are correct i think for a 10 round mag loaded with 8 if you own it prior to the April 15th deadline. How they would know that I don't have a drawer full of those mags currently is beyond me. (for the internet police---I havee many many pre April 15th 10 round magazines so you can rest assured they are ALLLLLLLL legal)

Often NOT others reading....more than likely my typing...lol. I was trying to convey they felt the rights were given to all by God. If they are not correct in their view then just how sacred are those rights? If they were just something that some very patriotic men of the time felt were a good idea, then perhaps they could very well be an outdated concepts and need to be addressed. (NOT in the fashion that they currently are bing addressed). They same men set a system to make such changes and that is how these possibly outdated changes should be made.

You are right. Many times the relocation packages are only offered to those that are 'needed" to get the new location up and running. Some of the hands on workers may be allowed to apply for the new positions but they often have to flip the bill for the move. Relocation packages seldom make it into the hands of the workers. I would expect that for a manufacturing operation you would see maybe from Shop Foreman and up being relocated. This is the last real manufacturing operation left in the valley. They have closed up or moved out one by one since I was a kid. I remember the big hulabalou when the Library Bureau closed up in Herkimer.

I didn't reference anything about cost? I was speaking of the amount of time that may be availiable to hunters in that age group. Not everyone has that easy access to shooting for practice. Many can't step out their back door and practice. And FYI. congrats on the new born, but they are not the draw on time. Wait until they get into activities and you take part in those. Lat's be honest. The crossbow doesn't require much practice. The form component of the vertical bow is performed by the stock and trigger mechanism. It is similar to a long gun in that respect. Once sighted in you really don't have to worry about much. -
SO if the Rights outlined in tthe Constitution are NOT God given rights, maybe their (the anti's) arguments are correct and they simply may be outdated? If those words are not Devinly inspired, they are simply the writings of some white haired patriots. Now dont get me wrong, legally there is still a process they need to go through to modify the law of the land. But it is is just about "changing a law" , Hell that stuff happens all the time. I guess I am canceling the Albany trip on Thursday. It all had more meaning for me until you guys cleared it up for me.
