  4. A couple of good picts from a food plot on my property. That was a big Sow with 3 cubs close to 2 yrs old. They needed to leave Momma!
  5. In 8P we get a lot of pictures on camera. Healthy Sows with triplets at times. I've shot at a few at bow season, never connected, but come gun they seem to disappear. I think in the last 14 years only 1 small bear was taken adjacent to my property at bow season. Then again bear season hasn't been open all those 14 years. Now I remember like in 2010 we had standing corn opening day. A sow and two cubs were feeding in it. They came out to my brothers stand to check out a doe he had shot. They wouldn't leave. I actually walked over to him right before dark and the three bears were on the edge of the corn just looking at me. Finally they went off into the corn. Like they knew I couldn't shoot them! lol
  6. We also were planted last week. I'm not a Farmer but I thought he said they could get 1 cutting in before winter. Does trhat sound right? Also mostly beans planted in the other fields around me.

  8. I don't think I can stop them. Thanks for the info!
  9. I don't have my name on my posted signs. It's all private by me no state land. Everyone else around me puts their name on the signs. I guess I'm lazy! lol
  10. Saw the doe in my yard then the fawn came out. It ran all over the place having fun!
  11. As you know I start at Harriman and get off at Howard. A good 4 hrs plus on Rt 17 . Saw a lot of good looking deer! Then I saw the dead kind with heads cut off. Had to be be three or four. Saw two families of turkeys all in 12 or so little ones. 1 dead yote and 1 dead black bear yearling near Hanckock. Watching the storms roll in now. Have a good night!
  12. Sorry guys you have never ever experienced a boat ramp other than Long Island. People just sit on the sides of the ramp to enjoy the show. Little boats all the way up to 23' go down the ramp and at times so do the trucks.! Once launching my 23 ' Stripper I turned the lock on the winch al it all locked up on a dead low tide ramp. Truck and rig started sliding in to the abyss. Luckily i released it and all came to a hault!
  13. Good luck nothing like a first house, she worked for it!
  14. Just don't understand why they didn't let school finish out before allowing this. Kids are almost done.
  15. Daughter Teddi (deer hunter) top row third from the left!
  16. We beat the Albany Alley Cats today to win the state cup. We fought back all day and went into OT. They scored first and we tied it in the second OT. Game ended on PK's and we won 3-1! Off to the regionals at the End of June. These kids are the Long Island Slammers U17 girls team!
  17. We all had a meeting back in early May. Met Lowel and his son Aaron. Very nice people. Yes their operation is huge. Can't wait to try their Black Angus!
