Nothing, Zip Nada! True story here was leaving work and my brother calls and says play the lottery it $250 million. I grab 10 bucks quick pick at Penn Station. Well he calls me the next morning to see how I did. I take a look and one of my games had all six numbers! I think shit I had to win something big? Turns out having all the numbers means shit unless you have the powerball number. The first number and powerball were transposed. Came down to me having 4 numbers winning a couple of hundred. Win some you lose some.....lol

I took my girls squirrel hunting around 8 years old. Always talked about deer hunting with them but never tagged along.

After Teddi (Theadora) shot her deer opening morning we still hunted. We sat on a hill side that afternoon and had some doe come very close. We both had doe permits but we didn't need the meat. She was just as happy sitting there watching the deer as she was before she shot her buck. We left Sunday afternoon and I gave her the option of sleeping in. She said no way I want to be out there. Again we saw deer. As I said before we hit the bridges headed to Long Island she asked if I could make a U-Turn and go back! She is hooked for sure. DJ Taxidermy asked if I wanted the mount back for Christmas (he was willing to prioritize Teddi's deer) but I said no. Every thing comes so quick these days this is something I waited for when I wanted a deer mounted so would she. Can't wait for Turkey season!

How wonderful. What we get back is ten-fold the excitement of shooting our own deer, turkey or pheasant!

So that was my Daughter this year opening day. This other photo is a friends son I mentored back in 2011. He was 14 and shot this button buck on his second sit ever. He hunted with me for the next 7 years then moved out west. He hunts Elk, deer and such. The cycle continues. Get them involved and let it play out.

Saw a report on Fox news. An upstate NY nursing home had a spike in deaths after administrating the vaccination to over half the residents. Doctor said while you can be vaccinated you also can spread the disease to those who are not. Keep on wearing the mask!

My friend bought a house this fall with an Asian Persimmon tree on it. Does not need to pollinate to produce fruit. I took all the fruit and ate some of it but planted the seeds. This spring I will graph a few branches to see if I can get something to grow.

Took my buddy to the cabin last weekend. He was amazed that I have several apple trees still holding a ton of fruit. He asked me why and I couldn't answer him. Now in the past these trees have had fruit late but this year it's a lot. Anyone know why? Great for the critters this late.

My buddy has 4 dogs the robot vacuum gets destroyed by the dog hair. Constantly replacing it at Cotsco which they gladly take back.

If it were tonights drawing I would increase the land around my cabin. I would buy a place out west probably Colorado and some place nice and warm. Also would treat family and friends real well and donate. $600 million os a lot for one person!

What a wonderful tribute to her. Sorry for her loss she sounded like a wonderful individual.

Took my buddy to the cabin this weekend. He just wanted to cook over the fire pit. We rigged up an old smoker and placed it on the coals. First night shrimp and NY Strip steak. Second night a 5lb chicken. Came out great!!!! The table is 30 years old. Amish made. Seats 12 but I only have 8 chairs. Two leafs. Amish guy named Alvin made i in Penn Yan. Said the bigger the table the bigger the family. We only had two kids.....lol.
