I agree with Pygmy 100%,no need for that big 50mm get your self a good 3x9 40,I like the prostaff myself,own 3 or 4 I also own a couple of leopolds.I think you would be much better off with the 40 or lower.

30 feet is just insane,I put up 2 15ft ladder stands this year because they were a good price,I well most likely never use them because I am not crazy about heights.
