  1. I think were going to see drones become a big problem for aviation. The more of these there are, the more we'll see mid air collisions. Helicopters are especially sensitive to a drone strike in mid air. I'm sure they will eventually be used for hunting though. These days any new toy gets pushed so hard for legalization, the wildlife agencies often cave. They really need to stick to making wildlife decisions based on proven methods.
  2. Right vs Left would also be Right vs The Government under this administration
  3. Look, I'm not cop bashing. I'm on their side. But when you are getting shot at while sitting in your car, or just doing a normal traffic stop, you get edgy. Cops pull their guns more often now, on duty or off, and I can't blame them. I actually think when their gut tells them to, they should. Now pulling the trigger is a whole different issue. That requires certainty. It was also meant to point out how few CCW cases like this there are. You guys assume too much sometimes. Get the facts before you go off.
  4. Police officers have had more cases like this than legal CCW permit holders
  5. The point is many protesters break the law and get arrested. People chain themselves across bridges blocking traffic. They get arrested. BLM members disturb the peace in restaurants, and should be arrested, but they have some sort of "protected class" status, so they aren't. Anti-war protesters during Viet Nam got arrested (At Kent State they got shot!) I could site dozens of examples, but I think you can see what I'm saying. The guys out west are not even close to the first group of protesters to break laws to make their point. Protesters do not have any opportunity to challenge a law unless someone gets arrested so they can challenge the law in court. You can't if the law has not harmed you.
  6. They also ask Communist countries for support with weapons and funds. So far, none have agreed, but have not told them no either. If they ever actually get it, things will start to intensify exponentially.
  7. I've heard a lot of Liberals support unions. Unions pay less experienced workers less money, based purely on seniority, even when they do the exact same work. Some of the lower seniority workers are women. I guess Uptown has a hearing impairment.
  8. "All that is necessary to understand the rabid efforts to disarm law-abiding American citizen gun owners is to realize that liberal gun control efforts have nothing to do with child safety, nothing to do with public safety, nothing to do with safety of anybody, or anything of the kind. Liberal gun control is about one thing, and one thing only. That one thing is the liberal/socialist's need to disarm those who would resist, thus impede, their ability to implement the socialist, centralized, big government, cradle to grave, control of people, who, in the liberal elite's opinion, are not smart enough to make the important decisions necessary to take care of themselves. The only thing preventing Obama (and ilk), from imposing their vision of the socialist, sunshine, unicorn, and rainbow utopia upon America is that they have been unable to disarm 150-200 million Americans of some many more millions of firearms. Additionally, neither have these socialist elites been successful at dissuading these 150-200 million law-abiding, citizen, firearm owning citizens from standing/fighting/dying for the principles in which they believe." Melvin R. Blann III
  9. I'm most concerned with their mass importation of Muslims, while attempting to take away our means of self defense. As far as hating women, these "refugees" are about as hateful as one can get. Yet the liberals love to paint them as peaceful. Lipstick on a Pig! This man shines a light under the liberal basket for all to see. https://www.youtube.com/embed/aYu_bHu6sUc?feature=player_embedded
  10. LOL!!!! Wow. I believe this guy really believes all of this to be factual and truth. Leftist mind control does exist. But only the victim mindset is susceptible.
  11. I've seen Reds chase other Reds. Maybe they bite the tails off of each other?
  12. Most in NY who hunt and own firearms feel it is a privilege, not a right. That's why they grovel at the feet of those who oppress their firearms rights. Unless a law SEVERELY infringes on their preferred firearms, they do not care about the people who it does affect. They actually show contempt for their fellow hunters and firearms owners if they do not follow their sanctimonious ideal of what a NY gun owner should believe and conform to. They seem to think they are protecting their gun rights by removing them from the great unwashed. It's an elitist attitude that will turn out to be the biggest mistake these folks have ever made.
  13. The 2nd Amendment and self defense are the two biggest areas the Democrats love to attack. They also constantly interfere with private business, free speech, freedom in general, property rights, right to work, right to know laws, religious freedom and generally over regulate every aspect of citizens lives. To them, rights are subject to change without notice. Both parties do it, but the Democrats do it more IMHO.
  14. The best the Democrats have to offer. Clinton, the corrupt liar and Sanders the Senile Socialist. That party is definitely represented correctly.
  15. The Progressive Democrats and Liberals are quite guilty of the same thing. I don't think you've ever acknowledged it when they do it though.
  16. That goes for both sides though. Many here seem to feel breaking the law is fine when it's done by certain groups they support, who often commit violence at the same time, while rabidly denouncing these guys for doing it without using violence, at least so far. Nobody here is without prejudice. People who live in glass houses.......
  17. Hillary probably thinks the movie is 13 hours long.
  18. Bennett didn't write it, but that doesn't mean all of the info in it isn't factual. They may not kill Trump if he's the GOP nominee, but I'll bet they'd like to. I'm still suspicious he's running to insure the same result Ross Perot did when Bill Clinton ran for the first time. The parallel is just to coincidental if he runs as a 3rd party. Offered enough money, he's capable of anything. It's "The Art of the Deal".
  19. I would think deep snow would be a problem for beagles hunting snow shoe rabbits. They have short legs and the rabbits have "snow shoes". No?
  20. Some folks bite their nails. Some red squirrels chew their tails.
  21. I think there is a better chance of these "assault weapon" bans, which exist in many states, going to the SCOTUS and being shot down. There are many reasons why these laws are unconstitutional, but have to make it to the court to be invalidated. Time is against it however. It took about 30 years for the handgun ban in Washington, DC to be found unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. Why is a violation of a Constitutional right so slow when it comes to due process? That's the effect of political corruption. The anti-gun Leftists are way ahead of these bans getting to the Supreme Court too. They want to replace 1 Conservative Justice with another Leftist as soon as possible. Since most Conservative siding winning opinions only pass with a 5-4 vote, adding another flaming Leftist like Sotomayer or Kagen will kill the Constitution as we know it, forever!
  22. No matter how you slice it, there is no excuse for ordering all possible help to "stand down". There is also no denying they tried to cover it up by saying it was a result of a youtube video, and continued to adhere to that lie until it was proven to be a lie. Come to think about it, they still blame it on the video. There is also no way to ignore the timing of this fiasco, coming on 9/11 and just prior to the election, when the narrative was Al Queda was on the run. Put all of this together and only an avid supporter, willing to deny all logic, would still say there was no way of preventing it, or helping those men.
  23. As an aside, I tried Crown Royal Black, but prefer the original.
  24. I drink Crown Royal. I drink it straight. I prefer it without ice and keep it in the freezer with a glass so I don't need ice. It's real smooth that way and I don't sip it. Age? I tell my kids, "That American flag only had 48 stars on it when I was born".
  25. all of the above was made clear to every politician in Albany prior to the middle of the night passage of the SAFE ACT, but they passed it anyway. What does that tell you about the real reason they passed it?
