Worked for a company that is a competitor to EZ Pass, and the cameras they use is pretty high tech. $60 a camera, and it'll get you at 120 MPH+. Can't evade tolls. The computer systems to store all the DB's alone costs 2 million on some projects. Tag readers are now capable of reading in excess if 80+ MPH, but isn't advertised but it too, will get you. If your plate is registered to an EZ Pass account, you'll be automatically billed even if your tag wasn't read, due to license plate capture. If not, the owner of the plate will get a bill in the mail along with a fine. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

Was leaving when this one hit so it was all good. Had a northern on but cut the line at the hole. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

Dry snow on top but once the holes were cut, it was slip and slide! 3lb walleye have up a good fight and threw me off balance at the hole. Slipped and had to roll to finish the landing. I was more wet than the fish. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

I'd use the .22 WMR if under 100 yards and some type of game point bullet. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

First time on the ice, first time catching a Walleye, and first time having a fish bust me on my ass. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

Used to board when I was younger. Like most here are trying to tell you, you'll pay for it later in your years if you are not careful. I'd still go if friends got a trip together, just to hang out with the boys. But I'd use ski-boards from now on. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

Dear Cabela’s Customer, A new law restricting the sale of ammunition to New York goes into effect on January 15, 2014, and Cabela’s must be in compliance with the law by that date. In order to be in compliance by the deadline, our last date to ship ammunition in to New York is today, January 3rd. This will allow enough time for potential delivery delays due to weather or other factors; ammunition must be delivered to customers in New York before January 15th, 2014. Our records show that you are still awaiting delivery of ammunition that is on backorder. The supplier for this product has been unable to provide more inventory to us to fulfill your backorder. As a result, we are not able to ship the ammunition that you ordered and get it delivered to you before the new law goes in to effect. We are very sorry about this situation. Sincerely, Cabela’s Inc. 3,000 deer on LI in federal sharpshooters' sights this winter
shawnhu replied to the blur's topic in Deer Hunting
That's not how it works anymore. Unless you have a bow tag, or a DMP tag, no buck hunter hunting LI is going to sacrifice their regular season buck tag to take a doe. With this year's new bonus tag changes, it really discourages trophy hunters from taking does. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems -

I was recently given a last warning for disruption of other people's threads, so I'm left with creating my own instead of "crapping" on others, as a mod would call it. I hope I'm not violating any of your rules this time, mighty moderator. Now, I'm not going to win any popularity contests around these woods, I've had my fair share of heated discussions with some(many) of you. That's fine, because through many of those discussions, I've met some I would consider really good people. People I would hunt with and share stories with. What this thread is about, is how I feel about the policies and enforcement of this site, HuntingNY as a forum. I haven't been a part of this forum nearly as long as some of you, and my hunch is that many of you already know one another from a previous site. I've complained and mentioned in the past of my dissatisfaction with how a certain mod conduct himself and the selective enforcement that goes on. So it was no surprise that I was given a warning for trying to keep the forum a little more organized by the same mod. Could I have approached it differently, probably. But instead of a thank you, I was called an ass. How many ways can you skin a cat?(Larry, feel free insert racist/stereotypical comment here). In a private discussion, I made an accusation that no one other than Biz R O was banned(time out) since by this mod. He was publicly banned(announced). That is the one and only known disciplinary action taken by this mod that I know of since. Since Biz' banning, I've seen multiple infractions of the rules of this forum and have done my duty as a member to report them. No action was taken that I know of. I asked for the names of those banned since, and was denied of those names. If you've been banned(timed out) since Biz' incident, please speak out! Probably wishful thinking on my part, ghosts can't speak. I fully understand that this is a privately owned forum, and the owner and his moderators can do as they please. I also understand the work and effort put into operating and running a forum, and appreciate the time the owner and mods put in. With that said, I also understand a great forum cannot be impartial to its rules and enforcement. I am new to hunting, and I have learned quite a lot from forums. This forum in particular has some great potential, some great people, and even some great hunters. I would like to see this forum succeed, and this is what this thread is about. So how many of you would like to see a cleaner, more friendly forum? How many of you would like to eliminate the personal insults and name calling, that the rules already state is not allowed? How many would like to see a site about hunting, and not full of stereotypes and racists? If this is you, demand mods to not be selective in enforcement, and treat every member fairly. Do your part, and report posts you feel is wrong. Speak up and challenge those in position to make changes. This is YOUR forum. Live free or die - NH

I'll send it when you send that pic if that deer kill in the rain you made... Oh that's right, you never recovered it. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

What part of I'd shoot them both under 4 seconds did you not understand? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

I never thought this day would come, but you are finally getting it. I'm proud of your progress. But honestly, I'd shoot them both under 4 seconds. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems

Actually, we can't ALL agree. I certainly don't. What am I going to do with those ugly horns? Certainly can't eat it, or feed it to the dogs. You used the phrase, "laying waste". You think these deer were left to rot? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
-
If you shoot a nice buck with big horns, that's fine. Don't take a picture, or video, or mention it, because you are bragging. That would be a loser move too, maybe? X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
-
Going from the guy is a loser to "it's just not my thing?" Pretty big difference there. X-Calibur Lighting Systems http://facebook.com/XCaliburLightingSystems
