These anti gun politicians are just thumbing their noses at us with all of these nonsensical laws. I heard on the Lonsbary show, the other day, that the little rats made an amendment to the SAFE joke that allows for retired police officers to carry 10 rounds in their guns. As long as the gun is the same gun they carried while they were on the job. 99.9% of cops have to turn their weapon back in to the department when they retire so this amendment really means next to nothing.

I have seen and heard a decent number of toms on private land, but not shots and the last time out it was pretty quiet. My buddy hunted state land yesterday and had some good action early in the morning, but he didn't connect. We're hitting the state spot first light tomarrow.

Im sorry but anyone who's political belief is that people would be safer if law abiding citizens load their 8 or 10 round magazines with only 7 rounds....is stupid ! And if such a person calls that law "common sense" then they are REAL STUPID !

I shot 125gr. thunderheads for years and got real good results. About 3 or 4 years ago I got a faster bow and wanted a lower profile broad head so I went with 2 blade Rage. I like them a lot. Real big holes.

Bales will work as long as they are bound real tight with metal straps or ratchet straps. Otherwise the arrows will zip right through. Most public ranges use hay, but they are always bound with metal straps. They get shot out pretty quick because of the number of people shooting at them.. . Buy a block type target. It should last you a while . Im on year 4 with mine and the arrows are just starting to poke through on the main center bullseye. Still have 4 corners to go.

Im all for educating the public on the dangers of smoking. It's a good idea. But some of these ads are getting way too graphic. I was at a local Arby's last week, eating lunch, when one of those ads came on the T.V. It was the one with the guy standing over the sink hacking up a lung (literally) Myself and everyone else in the restaurant, were disgusted. Totally inappropriate to have to watch that disgusting crap while eating in a public restaurant. One old crotchety old fart even yelled at the girl behind the counter (like it was her fault) Don't tell me that they can't tone these ads down and still deliver a strong message.

I use to use a True Glo red dot. It worked OK but I kept thinking that the reflective coating on the front lens, would spook birds so I took it off and just use the fiber optics now.

I quit about 25 years ago and it was not easy. People who say "just quit" don't realize that its not that easy. But once you get it in your head to quit, you will. For me it was a battle for the first 2 weeks and then it got a lot easier. Now I can't believe I ever smoked. The smell disgusts me and people who huddle around out side of the front doors of buildings to smoke (especially when its below zero out) annoy the hell out of me. Its not easy but you can quit.

GOOD CHOICE ! I got rid of my Weber about three years ago because I wanted a bigger grill. I cheaped out and bought a Kenmore and gave my weber to my wife's uncle. Big mistake. The Kenmore rotted out in three years and never did cook evenly. About two weeks ago I threw it in the back of my truck, dropped it off at the metal dump, drove to Home Depot and bought a new Weber. These things are awesome and last for ever. The one I gave away has to be 8 or 9 years old now and still works like new. ENJOY!!

I noticed that on the shelf at Gander Mtn a while back. Hornady makes good stuff, Im sure it would work well.

This is a tragedy and we don't know all of the facts. What we do know is that the cop was in a near impossible situation with just a few seconds to react. When the s..t hits the fan its not like being in some kind of role playing training or like punching paper targets at the range. I think that, at this time, focusing all of the blame on the cop and barely mentioning the career criminal, life long victimizer scum bag, is in poor taste. But most of that is coming from the usual cop bashers.

All your arrows need to be the same. If you have a new box, use those, and make sure that all of your field points/broad heads are exactly the same too. I hunt with the same arrows I practice with. I just make sure they fly good with the practice broad heads, and Im set. Never a problem. Don't know if you have one or not but a peep sight will help a lot with your left-right.

I put it on Craigslist last night and within twenty minutes I was contacted by two scammers. (might have been the same s..t stain trying twice) "I WILL BUY YOUR ATV. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ONE LIKE THIS FOR A LONG TIME. I AM ON A SHIP RIGHT NOW AND CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I GET BACK. IT MAY TAKE A LITTLE LONGER BUT I WILL ARRANGE PICK UP AND DEPOSIT A CHECK OR MONEY ORDER FOR YOUR FULL ASKING PRICE PLUS $200 FOR YOUR TROUBLE INTO YOUR ACCOUNT" The second message was pretty much the same as the first but just worded differently. I responded with a simple LOL and that was it. Bunch of scum bags.

Law enforcement would have to provide both a motive and an opprotunity .
