Right but in a prior post you wrote, something to the effect of ,"why do I care who knows what guns I own" A background check on ammo could document what caliber ammo you buy which may indicate what guns you own. It's no ones business IMHO You really didn't care that your name, and I assume address, was on the Journal news list???

Always lock your doors!!! Day, night, rain, shine whatever. My mother, who lives alone, would never lock her doors during the day, no matter how much I yelled at her about it. She lives in a decent neighborhood, but she thinks it still 1960. One day about 6 or 7 years ago she was out front working on her flowers. It was about 11:00 A.M. she went in the house, through the front door, to find a burglar . excuse me, (piece of S--t) standing in her kitchen holding her purse. Thankfully the burglar, I mean Piece of s--t, ran back out the back door, with the purse. It could have ended a lot differently. Lock the doors!!!

I'm still for the Kahr. I carry the MK40 every day. Its the same design as the CM9 but has an all steel frame and its a 40 cal. Its very concealable, accurate and reliable. I have about 350 rounds through it, with out a single problem. That includes different brands of hollow points. I'm sure the Smith and the Beretta are good guns too. I would go for the gun that is most concealable and feels the best in you hand.

Yeah that sucks...I think you should ship it back. There is a good chance they will replace more than just the defective parts. Good luck

I sent back my 835, a few years back, and I thought they were great. They called me to confirm that they received the gun, a couple days later they called to tell me what was wrong with it and how it would be repaired, a few days later they called to tell me that it was fixed and on its way back to me. They basically rebuilt the whole gun and added a ported barrel. This was all done under warranty. Most Mossbergs have a 10 year warranty. If yours is still covered ship the whole damn thing to them and let them worry about it.

Again ...this isn't about HUNTING. As long as you have your ME..ME..ME.. attitude you wont understand. I hope YOUR bolt action rifle or YOUR shotgun are never classified as a type of assault or military weapon and made illegal. If that happens YOU will have to hunt with a bow only but I assume that wouldn't bother YOU.

Do you bow hunt only?? I think most people on this site are concerned with the 2nd amendment, not hunting. The 2nd amendment has nothing to do with hunting. Most antis equate the 2nd amendment with hunting.

I have to agree. My brother in law has a tow behind. It works well but his ATV is too underpowered to pull it through the thicker stuff so when he uses it he borrows my ATV which has way more power. So I guess the thing to do is use a tractor or beat up on someone else's ATV??? LOL!

I don't think you would see a difference at 15-20 ft. I practice with the cheap stuff & carry the expensive stuff. I would strongly recommend running several rounds of carry ammo. through your guns, before you carry it, to make sure they function properly through the weapons. Some guns just don't like certain ammo.

It absolutely has nothing to do with keeping us safe but they have to say it is (lie) in order to hide their real reasons. They make up their own facts and statistics, they interpret the 2nd amendment the way they want to and are never questioned by the media. Anyone with half a brain can see that they have an agenda.

Can people ship you ammo from out of state??? I have a sister in law that lives in Texas. I was thinking about hitting her up. Figured I would send her a money order, plus a few bucks for her time and effort, & have her send me some.

I think thats exactly why you can't use the 410 in NY. Guys would be trying to punch it out to 60-70+ yards and wounding all kinds of deer. Why even bother with a 410?

A cop friend of mine was in Gander Mnt. last week. He saw three "inner city" lads (all with their hoods up) hanging around the pistol ammo shelf. They were just hovering there. My friend recognized one of them, because he has had quite a bit of contact with him while on the job, so he went over and started talking about the super bowl with him. The three must have been late for work or something because they didn't feel much like talking and left the store.

There is a release that pops the whole barrel up and away from the frame (top right photo) Then you can load a round right into the chamber , close it back down, load a mag and you're good to go, with out racking the slide. kind'a cool. My friend had on in .25 cal Not sure what other cals. are available.

What cal. is that?...380 ?
