Anyone have one?? I was checking one out the other day and they seem pretty sweet. Price isn't too bad either.

For just a cheap plinker scope, pick up a Simmons 22Mag. scope. They run less than 50 bucks and will do just fine for the occasional 22 target shooting.

They usually sell them outside of stores and gas stations around here. For some reason, the stores don't let them sell inside anymore so the kids have to stand outside in the freezing cold. Thats always good for an extra sympathy box for me. Good stuff but getting expensive!!! Just like the $50 boy scout popcorn.???

I keep the beard and spurs. The last few toms I got, I hot glue gunned the beard into the base of the shell I used, cut off the spurs and put them all on a lanyard. I tried saving the fans before, but they ended up falling apart.

Yup…I have a few rounds left in me, but at this stage its always best to hang back a little more than I use to. If someone goes for my wife or kids, it will be an all out baby seal hunt and I have the club. Other than that ….low and slow,,

Sounds like a pretty good deal. People get wrapped up in bigger = better, and in some cases thats true. But for just an all around utility quad, you will be fine. 2WD can do more than you think. Back in the day I had an old Suzuki 250 2WD, that I ran for about 5 years. It did the job well. When I finally upgraded to a new 4X4 quad around 1995 or so I gave the old Suzu to the farmer, who's land we hunt. He eventually had to have the engine rebuilt( after about a million hours) and put new tires on it, but he still uses it to work around the farm and hunt. I took it for a spin this fall and it runs great.

I agree. I guess I was concentrating more on the "I have nothing to hide" part of your statement. A lot of people think that if they're not doing anything wrong then the Government can look at them all they want and at any time they want.

So would you would have no problem with the government showing up at your house, unannounced and just taking a walk through ? Or randomly pulling you over and going through your car??? As long as you have "nothing to hide"??

The ice on the South shore looks pretty sloppy and thin to me. I saw a few people out there today, no snowmobiles though…I think they're nuts.

I thought I was alone!!! I just ate Broiled chicken breast, rice and green beans. Half over the kitchen island and half over the sink, while I stared out the back window, for no reason at all. I always eat standing, in the kitchen, when I eat alone. Forgot that everyone else had something going on until later tonight..
