Yeah I have read about them all... CKD is great, right now really sticking to strict < 30 carbs per day... So far down 15 lbs and feeling pretty good other then craving some pasta and bread. But hunger wise, I never am "starving" any more and I get satisfied pretty quick. I stick to the basics, eggs, meats, salads, fish and water. No soda (except some diet soda for my mixed drinks!). This works for me, I dropped 50 many moons ago going this route. Once I get down to a weight I'm confortable I'm going to up my carbs slowly and look at CKD and the other options. P.S. I just watched the movie "Fat Head" its really interesting (and boring)

Yeah it was sprats then it changed to something else, was a huge place.... Anyways, back to getting in shape / weightloss. I went low carb on Jan 3rd, doing pretty well, I have a lot of weight I want to loose.. I'm actually working on a Weight Loss tracking web app (maybe android app too) if anyone wants to help test and use it let me know. Its just a simple way to track your weight and any measurements along with goals. I really made it just for myself starting a few weeks ago but I starting building it out to allow other users to use it as well. Eventually add charts / graphs and some bells and whistles. I might leave it simple or add some more features, undecided at this point.

Only problem there is that its a fact they do have an impact. But lets not rehash that here.. hah

There was Sprats on the Water in Island Park, and Sprats on the Land in Westbury which is now Glo. I'm taking it back a long time... Sprats on the Water was a good time back in the day, it was next to Patty McGee's.

Man I can't wait to do some shed hunting, hopefully sooner rather then later. I have to get up to my Dad's hopefully in Feb...

1/2 these shows are scripted, my wife loves the housewives series... It amazes me the money these people burn! Mob wives is definitely scripted....

Hey all, Just curious, since I'm a somewhat new Dad (7 Month Old) with a beautiful baby girl... Who has kids and how old? My little one has mastered the walker and zooms all over the place now, smashing into everything. She doesn't crawl yet, and might not ever (hates to be on her stomach), but I have a feeling she will walk before she crawls... She loves to stand. Anyways, its been a blast so far, and always looking forward to see what tomorrow will bring. Every day its something new! And she is FINALLY sleeping through the night w/o intervention. She doesn't know it yet, but she will be hunting with or with out mom's approval.

With the cost of a Crossbow, I wonder what if any impact it would have on the bow season anyways. I'll admit, I'm a bit selfish when it comes to bow season, I love being out there alone during that time of the season! One thing I would like to see is something more added to the bow hunting courses to cover the safety, use and handeling of a Crossbow. I can see it being a popular option for new hunters, so hopefully they can cover that. Besides me being selfish, I pray and hope it brings new hunters out into the woods, we need more people involved in the sport ASAP!

Jets fan rooting for the Giants all the way. Only time i never root Blue is when they are playing the Green, however, with the way thing are going with the Jets I might convert (not). My wife's fam are all Giants fans, the father-in-law is going nuts. Next weekend should be a lot of fun, and of course I wish nothing but the worst for the Pat's.

It will be interesting to see what happens this year. I'll be following this for sure!

Anyone see the show "My Big Redneck Vacation"? My father-in-law stumbled upon the show today, and its about a few fam's from the south, Louisiana I believe. They drive out to Long Island, the hamptons, and the show rents them a crazy house for the summer.. I only saw parts of the first episode, but they brought their guns, ATV's and all kinds of crap out here. There were some funny parts... Trailer for the show:

FYI the site should feel a bit more snappy now...

FiOS here, can't pass up the speed i get, never going back to cable. While its not cheap, it was cheaper then what I was paying for cable. Plus the ondemand is great for the kid once she starts watching those kids shows.
